Your personal public speaking coach, in an app
Social distancing is good for health but not good for communication skills. If presenting on Zoom gives you sweaty palms, or you just want to check if you’re good at public speaking, let me introduce you to Speeko. It’s a speaking coach that keeps quiet. You speak.
Step 1: Speak
Pick the activity, record yourself speak, and listen to the recording. We know, terrible. But you’ll get used to your voice at some point, hopefully... I did the “Picture this” activity, and it was fun! The task was to look at the picture and give a 1-minute impromptu speech based on it.
Step 2: See how many times you uhmed
Once you’ve done the activity, go to the Progress tab for feedback. I was impressed with how many insights you get. Speeko counts your “filler” words so you can pay attention and try avoiding them in the future. It also analyzes your pace, intonation, pausing, articulation, and word choice. Finally, you can get a full transcript of your speech.
Step 3: Repeat
Speeko will suggest activities, based on your goals, but you can as well choose any you like. Want to practice your own speech or prepare for an interview? Go into the Recording tab and start speaking. Use warmups and prompts as guidance. Speeko is there to listen to your longest monologues and help you prepare for life-changing events.
Hope this use case will help you solve tasks faster, and enjoy solving them too! Check out more use cases picked for you below.
