In 2020, Michael launched his first app, Focused Work, a powerful timer for getting stuff done. Two years later, he released Ochi, a simple app/website blocking tool for Mac and iPhone. He has since built more than five apps, growing them across Australia, the US, the UK, and the EU.
Since 2024, Michael has been the founder and CEO of Dumb Phone, where he focuses on building intentional, distraction-reducing digital products.
