The one thing missing for me is the ability to have multiple profiles for meetings. I may be representing one company (colors, titles, logo) and want to quickly switch to another profile for friends or family, where I wouldn’t need titles or logos and could have a collection of settings ready for the selected profile. Other than that, this is a pretty good application as is!

Even though I personally don’y have a lot of use for Boom, simply because I don’t create a lot of videos, I found it to work really well despite lacking advanced post-editing features. Really easy to use, and makes videos look great. When I have a need for screen recording that doesn’t require much editing in post, I will definitely be using it.

Some similar apps I’ve tried tend to take over the microphone, which I really don’t like. Boom stays focused, my video and microphone work normally without any complicated setup. I love the iPad/iPhone overlay idea, it looks very professional when I’m presenting my designs. Really love it! Wish I had known about this earlier.
