Setapp launches Super Simple Stories, fun videos about tech

On 14 April 2021, Setapp is launching something new and exciting on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok: Super Simple Stories!

Super Simple Stories is a new brain-tickling social content series, created to answer all of the questions you never knew you had. Questions, such as:

Can pictures of your pets help save lives?

How can using your GPS in Iceland turn you into a celebrity?

Does 5G help you sleep more?

We ask — and answer — these and many more unexpected (and a bit weird) questions about technology so you have fun and learn new stuff. Super Simple Stories is launching across three social networks: YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Big stories, bite-sized

People watch video for hours, on smartphones, laptops, tablets, and smart TVs. So we thought it’s time Setapp brought entertaining and thought-provoking content to where our audience hangs out.

We are creating Super Simple Stories in partnership with SuperHeroes NYC, an indie creative and advertising agency in New York. SuperHeroes NYC work with an impressive range of iconic brands, such as MTV, Converse, Netflix, Vans, LG and numerous others, producing engaging social videos and adverts “aimed at millennials and Gen Z”, which people love to watch and share.

“Our audience is curious about new technologies, so this content series looks to capture their attention organically,” says Yaroslav Stepanenko, Setapp’s Product Marketing Manager.

“We were looking for non-advertising attention grabbers to tell the Setapp brand story. We’re now launching Super Simple Stories channels on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok and have made dozens of content pieces to bring them to life. There are so many great stories to share, we’d love it to become a long lasting and popular series”, says Rogier Vijverberg, ECD at SuperHeroes.
