Doesn’t work. You click allow and nothing happens. I’ve tried doing all sorts of security auth - nothing.

I was working perfectly until the last update. Now it doesn’t work…

It crashes every other time I launch the app

Was unable to make it allow access to camera, the button just did nothing. Followed a bunch of steps online to try and get it to work but nothing worked.

Good.

When I try to change the camera the preview window just closes and doesn’t change the camera. When I reopen it is still on the wrong camera. Otherwise a solid tool. I just need that to work.

Do what it promises. it works

Not a fan. First, it immediately brings up a First Steps screen with the an active button for the first step and shaded for the next to steps. FIrst step is to give the app camera permissions. When I click the Allow button, it briefly changes shade of blue to acknowlege the button press. Then nothing.

Please fix! The camera list doesn't update when new cameras are plugged in, and requires selecting, unselecting, then re-selecting a camera to actually change the view. This is a regression (likely caused by Apple's awful DX rather than anything the dev did)

I was using Hand Mirror on my Mac before I used it with Setapp. I like the app but I am finding all of the software to use video calls have the ability to check your image before going live, but Hand Mirror is a stand alone app and I am not sure if this app is not going to be Sherlocked in the future.

I have an issue that’s a bit specific, I use the app trough a mac shortcut (its only fiunction is to Open Hand Mirror) becasue the notch is already for another app and the menu bar is full and when the app is opened this way, i have to toggle the "Show icon in the Dock" button in the settings of Hand Mirror to make it leave. It’s no big deal, really, I’m just gonna use the menu bar instead but if you don’t know what to improve here you go :)

It's good, but the latest version is buggy. The reactions button is always turned off when starting fresh (quitting and reopening the app or rebooting macOS). The reactions button is unavailable when the smart window mask is set to Square or Circle.
