Fantastic app! Truly amazing and exactly what I was looking for. I love how you can create unlimited terminal windows to have Claude Code, Codex, or any number of tools running at the same time. My biggest complaint is how much memory it takes up. I had several instances of Claude Code running and got a warning on my Mac that said it was using 20 gigs of RAM. Ouch. Other than that, five stars across the board.

Maestri opened a new door to agentic coding. The unlimited canvas is a great productivity boost.

Thank you, Justin. "A new door" is the highest compliment a tool can get. Glad the canvas is paying off for you.

Great app. Absolutely Brilliant. Only problem now I have is that I cant sidescroll using my Logitech mouse. It works on my trackpad but not on mouse. Kudos to the idea and execution.

Thanks for the kind words! That's odd about the side scroll. I'm using an MX Master and it works fine here. Could you let me know which Logitech model you're on and whether Logi Options+ is installed? Happy to look into it.

How do you link the different terminals? It says to draw a line… how? Thx S

Hey! Select a terminal, then click the connection icon in the toolbar that appears at the top (or press Cmd+L), then click the terminal you want to link to. Hope that helps!

WOW. Just WOW. Maestri is roughly the 9th orchestrator/terminal/agent-runner app I've tried, and honestly (sorry) all the others were garbage. Built on fundamentally broken ideas. We're all at different levels, and most of them try to "solve everything" — and end up solving nothing. Not to mention most are a pile of bugs. Maestri, on the other hand, already scales with the user's knowledge and needs, which is staggering. Roughly two hours in and I'm already at home in it. I love that it's macOS-only and not some Win/Linux port — the difference is brutal in the best way. So: thank you.

It works find with local CLI but I could not find how agents that do not run locally. I work on a MacBook and I use Hermes-agent and OpenClaw that runs on two raspberry pi 5 on my LAN. OpenClaw support wss and Hermes has a rest API. Any chance that you allow to allow agent comminicate together even if they are not CLI running locally ? That would make your product incredibly useful!.

Good news: SSH workspaces already cover this. Maestri can attach a terminal to either Pi over your LAN, and anything you launch from that shell becomes an agent on the canvas. If Hermes-agent and OpenClaw have CLIs, point Maestri at them. If they only expose REST/WSS, a thin shell wrapper around the endpoint works just as well. Docs: https://themaestri.app/en/docs/ssh

Absolutely brilliant app that needs a tweak to fix the clunky performance. Worth sticking by it until then.

Thanks for sticking with it. Performance is something I'm actively chasing!

Love this app, works great on the suwhd monitor. I’m just gutted I bought it last week instead of waiting for setapp! Awesome app to add to setapp! Keep improving!! Cant’ wait for more features so this app can just be my OS instead.

updated: DO NOT TRUST THIS APP WITH ANYTHING IMPORTANT. Again bro, i want to like this app, but it is SO broken. My keyboard randomly stops working mid session with TWO terminals. i just lost SO MUCH WORK. If you are going to publish this as a multi-terminal agent coding app, you absolutely have to ensure it works. i literlly just lost an entire session of work i had prepared just for Maestri and it’s all gone. on a very important project. hours of pre work for Maestri and it’s gone. i couldn’t even get out of the terminal selector window. This is SO broken. I really really want to use this app and i like the concept, but this is a side project that Setapp shouldn’t have ever published.

Your work is almost certainly not lost. Maestri keeps continuous backups of the canvas. Every supported agent has a /resume command that brings the full session back, and they're very good at finding their own previous sessions on disk. Open a fresh terminal in the same workspace, run /resume, or ask Claude/Codex to find a previous session, and you should be right where you left off. The keyboard freeze sounds like a known focus-management issue that's hard to reproduce due to the canvas's complexity. The latest update should significantly reduce it, if not fully prevent it, and is currently in Setapp's review. If it happens again after that update lands, a diagnostic from Help → Report a Problem would help me close the remaining edge cases.

I wholeheartedly approve of this app - this is a first A2A implementation that actually works! this is great! I just wish that the chron timer to remind the agents to do something would be tighter integrated and not buried in the routines - since this is the only way to have the agents continuously do stuff without going idle

Thank you. "First A2A that actually works" is a line I'll remember for a while. Fair point on routines being buried. It's a core primitive for keeping agents continuously busy and shouldn't live two menus deep. I'm thinking through how to surface it better, maybe a panel on the canvas or a per-terminal toggle. Noting your interest.

It is an amazing idea. It is really fascinating and fun. The potential is limitless. I think it would be especially useful for PMs or designers, rather than developers, during the planning stage.

Thanks! One of our power users is actually a designer with very little coding experience who uses it daily. The spatial canvas works well for both worlds. Glad you're enjoying it!
