Great to see an update to the classic. The local AI is actually fairly useful for some tasks. I haven’t tried collaboration yet, but if it works, you’ve made me very happy!

One of the best mind mapping software with such a good user interface

Can’t store mindmaps in the file system, so they cannot be stored together with all other files of a project, don’t go into the same backups etc. That is a major impediment for using that app in a professional context. App description does not make that clear, and also does not explain at all what is different to Mind Node Classic.

I really don't understand how developer thinks they know how I manage and structure and use my files and the workflow I use. Not being able to locate my files and have them stored in some invisible iCloud folder is a no-brainer show stop, for me. I installed this work with it for five minutes before I figured out that file storage is invisible and hidden and then promptly deleted it.

I’ve been using MindNode for many years. It’s my go-to app for structuring my thoughts and organizing large projects. I appreciate the convenience that MindNode Next offers. I’m free to create a mind map and access it on all my devices without having to think about where it’s stored or what file name to use. I also appreciate that MindNode Next supports collaboration.

Simple as I need it, or as complex. Very helpful to keep the theme and flow or projects.

My experience with MindNode Next has been great so far. I appreciate the developers making it available via Setapp after previously only having MindNode Classic.

Next with setapp is a big deal! but the reason I cannot update completely from classic is the missing of the quick entry, it’s always good to lightly brainstorm some new idea without heavy distraction like opening a new huge window on screen. Please bring it to the Next Version.

This app used to be nearly perfect. It did one simple thing very well. I have so many MindNode docs and now the new app wants to put them in document jail. I rarely use the Cloud and prefer to selfhost. Too bad the "moderization" ruined a great app.

Visual outliners are great for brainstorming, and this works well. It's a tool that's been around for a long time and is reasonably feature-rich and mature.

Great product, supports my creativity and getting organised

I’m really happy with this new version of MindNode. Partly because I can now have the same mindmap open on two computers without sync conflicts, and partly because the custom theming now works at multiple levels of nodes. The old MindNode was great, but I find myself using, enjoying, and relying on this new version more than ever. Hell yeah.

This app looks nice but when I edit an item and press Enter, the input source automatically switches from Japanese to English every time. This is really inconvenient.
