Very helpful to get control over the menubar items !! Recommended

Long-time user and this is a must have app

Trop de permissions non necessaire requises. La confidentialité et l’ampleur des données collectées m’ont fait désinstaller cette application. Pourquoi cette application a-t-elle besoin d’un accès aussi intrusif.

As others have mentioned, this used to be great. Now it’s next to useless as I can’t configure the bar without it re-indexing or the icons reverting back to default. Uninstalled.

Mouse pointers randomly disappear after update.

Nice App. Works well on my Macbook Pro M2. Needs to be restarted from time to time. I had so many icons on the menubar and most of them are not useful in an everyday life.

I find it difficult to use, it seems like whatever I put in my menu bar seems to not always show up

Once upon a time this app was amazing and working. As of recently has stopped working (keeps trying to re-index the menu bar items, menu bar items when clicked do NOT do the expected action, movong app to permanently hidden on its own). It’s a pity that this app has become so difficult to work with……

The app is too buggy, it messes my menubar items all the time, throwing things into always hidden randomly and also keeps acting up, setting too large spaces (400 pixels!) completely out of the blue. IDK if it’s the fact that i work with 3 monitors or anything, but I’m just tired of it getting in the way of me working or trying to have fun between work sessions watching something.

Bartender saves my Mac from extreme clutter. The team has worked very hard to squash bugs and has been patient and generous with their support. Honestly, this is one of the main reasons I have Setapp.

App breaks on every MacOS update. Most recent Bartender 6 you still cant nest “hidden apps” within the ‘>’ icon in the bar, they just sit beside it.

This app is not working as it used to and on top of that it wants access to record audio. I dont think there is any aspect of its functioning that should need constant recording of my audio.

Like everyone else is saying, this used to be a fantastic tool. But since Tahoe, it’s become unusable. It glitches constantly, making icons appear and disappear, taking control of the mouse, and behaving erratically overall. I’ve switched to the open-source alternative Thaw for now. It has less functionality than Bartender, but it works properly on Tahoe.

Keeps “rearranging my menubar items” and the notification pop-up keeps showing up, distracting me and interrupting my workflow. Why so many bugs?

I don’t think this app is anymore sustainable. Ever since it’s been sold, it’s been going downhill continuously. Filled with bugs and issues. Sometimes the bartender bar won’t open. The menu icons won’t appear at all on the layout screen to adjust. Completely chaotic behaviour. Been using it for over a decade and I’m afraid I need to remove this buggy product from my MacBook.
