SO HELPFUL! I set the homepage to my favorite Bible website, so I can look up and copy/paste verses in whatever translation I want, all from the menu bar! I use this app dozens of times a day. Thank you guys for making this app. it saves me so much time and energy.

Used to be good, now it doesn’t even work properly. Too many errors.

App no longer opens and does not show on the menu bar.

Wonderful thing for my ADHD brain. It lets me to have my youtube lofi beats without the distraction of a different browser (I keep my personal vs work stuff on different browsers, so opening my personal browser is a huge distraction during my work day). Also, it’s great to quickly look up things and/or watch some netflix on a background when doing some routine admin tasks. Love that.

I respect all the people who love this app but I simply cannot figure it out. Lots of icons and sections to scroll through, and it leaves icons on the menubar and locks me into programs I have no interest in. Perhaps the most confusing UI I’ve seen and for me a big time waster. If I ever do figure this out I’ll be sure to revise my review!

I love Menubar X with passion, especially as a product designer, and that’s why my frustration doubles when a paid app is not working as it should, and the customer support is a full zero, I expect such a great and also paid app to work perfectly, for instance, if you want to use got GPT account it’s not possible, it won’t allow me to login, and there a clunky few things here and there but this is the most frustrating thing. please fix it and soon.

I can not recommend this app because it contains close buttons on the right side

deleted after about the 6th americanised captcha screen. This is not how productivity works

One of the best apps on Setapp! I use it to quickly access Facebook Messenger instead of downloading the Messenger app. It’s so handy to be able to quickly open it with a shortcut any time.

Going from e.g. ChatGPT on the browser/native app to in the menu bar is a small change but you can feel it. A little iffy at times, but very convenient.

**Update** Dark Mode has completely disappeared in this update v1.6.9. Will update rating again when it is fixed. Writing here because I’ve not gotten responses to direct queries in the past. I like this little handy app a lot, and use it every day! Would love to have an actual dark mode option available though. That pages in the app look good in either light or dark still doesn’t allow for sites to be made dark, as one would using a browser extension for example.

I just installed the MenubarX from Setspp. I am looking for a bookmark manager that will let me navigate through a heirarchy of Safari bookmarks. The native app would work fine if it just allowed me to toggle the bookmark folders open or closed instead of forcing me to scroll through dozens of heirarchiical folders. I have absolutely no idea what MenubarX is supposed to do, or how to use it. I see a brief video that moves too fast to get anything useful out of it. No manual. No setup guide. Absolutely useless - very disappointed.
