Like the simplicity of the app but can it please pin to the centre of the screen like spotlight rather than moving near to the bottom. It’s frustrating and I have to move it back up all the time.

Hi Tom! Thank you, I strive to keep it as simple as possible. The positioning staying centered (or wherever you move it) should be fixed in the very next release! Edit: This should be fixed now!

Thanks for the review Dark of Lord! Monarch is adding new things all the time, a lot of which hasn't been seen in any other launcher so hopefully it will hit a level that meets or exceeds your workflow needs in the coming months. Tons of changes have come this year already just from January to March, so expect more!

It’s a great app, but it doesn’t seem to be for me. My main storage is on an external drive, and searching for files on the external drive doesn’t show any results. I don’t understand what’s wrong—I’ve granted all the necessary permissions.

Hey naufalwibi, thanks for the review! It's possible you're running into a bug, some users reported having to toggle the external hard drive setting after starting, so I'll try my best to have this fixed in the next version! Thanks again!

If you don't want to pay extra for Raycast or Alfred, this app is a great choice. However, it’s not for me, and the reason is simple: it can’t search content inside the Shortcuts app. To reduce my reliance on another spotlight thing, I write some simple scripts and trriger them by search Shortcuts. This way, my migration cost is minimized. Will try Monarch when it has such ability

Thanks for the review, Xinan! Whenever the blocker is just a single thing like this, I'd like to take the chance to try to see if we can add it in for you. I'm looking into adding Shortcuts so that the transition can be easier for you. Be on the look out for a Monarch update! Editing to update you: Shortcuts have been added to Monarch!

I like it :) The only thing I am seeing, is somehow it slows down new processes and other apps. When not running, everything is good. Pls. fix this issue, and it will be my main app launcher :)

Thank you for your review, Kim! Can you tell me a bit more about your Mac hardware and macOS version? It shouldn't be slowing down other apps at all. I'd like to get to the bottom of this so you can have your new launcher!
