I use this app all the time. It is my goto video and audio player.

I love Movist! It’s simple, while robust and customizable to your preferences and workflow. I use it as a replacement for Quicktime Player and VLC.

Movist Player has exclusive features including pinch to zoom (not just zoom to full screen) and video add sharpness, color and effects adjustments, all remembered the way you tell it to. And it understands me well, is one of a kind player app, and it all works 100%.

It has a lot of features but movie result of vlc on default settings is better to my eyes the colors are a bit dull on movist pro. Request to developers to compare and fix it.

Excellent lecteur vidéo, tous les formats sont lus sans problèmes

Very good set of features that are well worth learning about and tweaking in settings. This app can open and play nearly every kind of video file I throw at it. Most of the things I initially wished it did or had turned out to be configurable, like opening videos each in their own window rather than serially in the one window. The video and audio filters work well -I often find the exposure compemsation and gamma adjustments particulasrly handy. To get the most out of thi app it’s seriously worth spending a little time learning its quirks. Not every feature or capability is on by default, tmmediately obvious or controlled in a strictly ‘Mac-standard’ fashion. In exploring the app I found it most useful to go through all the settings, particularly learning, customising and adding to the keyboard shortcuts, which can control a vast array of parameters and commands. Overall: features, capabilities and file compatability are better than most comparable apps, and put Quicktime to shame.
