Thank you for the detailed feedback — it pointed straight at the worst problems, and all three are now fixed. - Freezing and failing to communicate with Setapp: the Setapp usage reporting ran synchronously on the main thread, so the first time the panel opened it could stall the app for a long time. It now runs on a background queue, so that hang is gone. - The menu opening at a random location: the panel was rebuilt to anchor directly to the menu bar button (flush with the icon, and flipping to the other side near the screen edge), so it no longer appears at a changing position. - Look and feel: the panel is now a Control Center-style glass panel with a native rounded corner and a shadow, the app icon was refined, and a follow-up update sharpens the menu bar icon on non-Retina displays. If anything still feels off after you update, I would be glad to hear which part — I would rather fix it than leave it. Thank you for taking another look at PeekBar.
