I never liked Markdown because it was hard to read. But Markdown is the format of choice for many AI apps so I would convert the Markdown files to docx to review. But now with Telescopo Markdown Studio, I can stay in the markdown environment. No file conversions. Great visual formatting. It is now one of my most-used apps.

Telescopo has great functionality and is otherwise an excellent Markdown viewer/editor. Unfortunately, the fixed layout makes it barely usable for me. Having the rendered output on the left and the editor on the right feels completely backwards for left-to-right languages. The more natural and familiar workflow is editor on the left, output on the right, following the same left-to-right input -> result progression. This is consistent with established UX practices and supported by research on how reading direction affects spatial cognition and information processing. The biggest issue is that there is no option to swap the panes. Such a simple setting would make an otherwise great app dramatically more convenient and usable.

Hi, I suggest adding a draft pad that doesn’t require creating a file first, with the ability to save it as a file once the draft is final or discard it.

Great app

As global as markdown is, most assume only coders use it. I had to open markdown in an IDE and each time go click that darn Preview mode. Cant use Obsidian because it will move the file to a vault! I just wanted to double click any markdown and preview it rendered with mermaid, images..etc!!! Finally someone made the best markdown viewer/editor for non coding usage!! And they’re rapidly improving it!

Nice and Easy. Does what it says it will do, but then has a few pleasant surprises up it’s sleeve.

I have just installed the app, and it looks very good and I think it will fulfill many of my needs. The only thing that bothered me immediately was the editing panel’s placement on the right side. It seems that my brain is really wired for editing on the left and previewing on the right. Is there a way to switch the panels? Thank you!

This app is full-featured, and I would like to use it more, but a competing app has a ViM option, and it would be great if you could integrate that too. Is this on your development roadmap?

Highly satisfied with the new editor studio update. Finally not just a reader! Practical templates, directory watching, awesome! Small issue in the editor: when the lines are wrapped, there is no way to side-scroll to reach the end of long lines.

Install, double-click, open. Simple. This is exactly the app I need for my work!

The wysiwyg editor is great.

A lot of good features that could make it my next markdown editor but 2 things I don’t like: - The editor and preview are in the wrong order: I am more used to having the editor to the left and the reader to the right - Most importantly, both pane don’t synchronise when scrolling. I will keep using open source MarkEdit for now.

So far, this has been a godsend. I’ve been struggling to find an app that lets you write *clean* markdown in a simple, well designed interface. And the live preview is so, so useful to me as someone who’s fairly new to writing documentation in markdown. It also doesn’t try to hijack the file or keep changing it into things like 'Markdown XL' (looking at you, Ulysses 👀). Really happy to have found this app!

Wow, if one app is nerve-racking, then THIS app. EVERYTIME you open the app or you open a file, it opens an “open file” page, kind of a file browser. you end up with dozens of file browsers you never need - but cannot turn that off because there is no setting for it. My rating: aggressive. Annoying. VERY annoying. Not to recommand.
