I have the filter problems too. The filter in the app makes the internet connection disconnect once in a while. I spend a lot of time with Apple support trying to figure out what the problem was. Reported it to the developer.

A lifesaver when using free Wifi that comes with a limit

auto on/off depending on detected internet conenction type (iPhone tethering, home wi-fi, outside wi-fi, and etc) does not work

hopefully a fresh install will fix the crashes. if the app does craesh it’d be nice to have it auto-restart. Perhaps if you track the last crash times you could notice a repeat crash event and stop auto-restart

Great for controlling data when you are travelling on a limited SIM card.

system extension didnt get enabled

It constantly causes my internet to stop working. If I disable the network filter for it in System Settings, the internet starts working again, so it’s definitely bugs in the Network Extension that comes with the app. Also, the menu bar window does not register Command+Q for quitting, so I often accidentally quit Safari instead of this app.

I really really want to like this app. I need the features from it! After the first open, I can’t get into the trip mode menu again. I have to uninstall and reinstall. It also freezes up the internet and I can’t pull it up becuase it’s not accessible from the background. Even if I go into setapp and try to open it again it does not. GREAT APP IDEA. Please fix it

On macOS Sequoia you need to go System Preferences > General > Login Items & Extensions > Network Extensions, click the "i" icon and enable the toggle next to TripMode. Type in your password and click Done, then finalize the installation. This should OBVIOUSLY be described in the installation dialog of the TripMode app itself!

Was great for a long time - now the network filter incompatible with new MacOS and constantly results in cut off WiFi connections.

Does exactly what it claims to do. Great for monitoring data usage and blocking specific apps from having Internet access.

Trip Mode is not multi-user compatible. There is an error when two users are logged in: No endpoint (error code = 1). otherwise the app is great. Especially for public WLANs with a limit.
