Versão do app: 2.6.2
It’s overall a great app but there’s key features missing like being able to save a markdown file in the local file system. Being able to upload to Github Gist is really nice, but it would be also very appreciatable to be able to save a markdown file (especially when it contains a markdown file) into a local directory in order to be able to push it into a project repository. It’s really boring everytime having to : - open a file with a text editor - copy markdown text - paste it into snippetslab - modify the snippet - copy updated text from snippetslab - paste it into text editor - then save. seven steps instead of three.

Great app, but I guess it’s leaving Setapp. This makes me sad because the Apple App Store is blocked on my work computer. That was a big selling point for my Setapp subscription. I can get apps through this service, but not in the Apple App Store. :(

It would be awesome to have an iOS/iPadOS counterpart that syncs via iCloud, or even a web app. I find that I use other products for text snippets becaues of this.

The interface is sleek and responsive, though there remain several areas ripe for enhancement. Nevertheless, it holds considerable promise.

I love it, but it's apparently going away, so that kind of sucks.

I wasn’t sure that this would stick for me. I already use TextExpander for lots of snippets. But SnippetsLab is makes code snippets much easier to manage. As a specially designed tool, it’s well worth using.

I use SnippetsLab to save code for Terminal and for website building. It saves me a lot of time so I don’t need to search for code online or rewrite it constantly. SnippetLab is a specific and perfectly built tool.

Was a handy app, I’ll probably re-install the App Store version on my personal Mac. Will really miss the SetApp version as, like a previous reviewer, my work machine doesn’t allow App Store installs. Maybe I’ll file a ticket to get it pushed through MDM at least to engineering machines. Being free should make that an easier sell, ha. Farewell SetApp version. Thanks for the fish.

Versão do app: 2.6.1
Fantastic app! Although I use it for storing the occassional CSS snippet, I also use it for all my on-the-fly text needs. It’s highly efficient and elegant for this purpose, with its excellent menu bar integration, and the fact that everything is automatically saved without the need to provide titles. Plus you don’t end up with an unwieldy quantity of tabs or windows like in a text editor.

Achei bem interessante a proposta. Uma boa forma de armazenar infomrações que usamos sempre ou que é preciso guardar para usar novamente um dia, mantendo sempre no lugar certo e não em aplicativos genéricos de notas, por exemplo.
