Idea is great and the app is very handy - latest update forces dark overlay on screens that are not being actively timelapsed, also I am not sure why this app has not allowed just timelapsing all screens, and why it only allows time-lapsing a single screen.

L’export ne fonctionne toujours pas malgré plusieurs tentatives de réglages. Soit quelque chose m’a échappé, soit l’application présente un dysfonctionnement majeur.

Export functionality is not working as expected.

While the app still technically works, the exported file (whether .mov or .mp4) won’t open in well-known editing apps like ScreenFlow or Final Cut Pro X. I have to use VLC to convert it to .m4v to be able to import into other apps for editing—an extra step that wasn’t necessary before. I sent an email to the support email listed on the developer’s website and have yet to get a reply of any sort (not even a confirmation of its receipt). Disappointing.

Didn’t work at all, never exports correctly. Slows down editing software to a point where it is completely unusable…

Had a lot of trouble getting it to open but got it working and it does the job

Nice app, and can be handly. However, there is a bug when attempting to record a full screen, as soon as you click “start recording” the recording area will shrink to a random size starting at the center where start recording button was. This makes it impossible to record a full screen. I tried to click the full screen button first, but then my entire mac screen goes dark. So handly if you okay recording small sections of your screen, but useless if you want to record the full screen. EDIT: Found a way around the full screen problem. IF you click and drag the “start recording” button, you can drag the corner of the recording area back to the corner of your screen and get a full screen recording. Still a bug, but has a work around. I did find another problem that the exported video will not play in preview and you need VLC to open the video which would suggest that the app doesn’t export the video as a proper MP4? Or that there is something wrong with the exported videos?

Same as the other reviews, the whole process happens, it says it exported it, but it has some error right at the end, and it gets stuck in an unfinished state. Can’t get it to work at all. Big Sad.

It didn’t record the application, and was clunky to use.

great, makes best timelapses

Super handy. Super light-weight. I use it all the time for referencing back some things and retracing steps and sharing processes of video production and web design projects.

After giving necessary permissions, there’s no feedback that the app has started. Turns out it’s in the status bar. That’s… fine. I tried using it but it hung on the first timelapse I tried to make. No option to save timelapse at the native resolution of the screen. Using Sequoia on MBP Pro M4.

The final videos don’t export correctly. I’ve tried saving as a .mov file and .mp4 file. I love the idea of this and I really wish it worked. I’ve tried it on an M1 Mac mini and an M1 MacBook Pro. It does the same thing on both devices.

I have not used much. But when I have, the app’s worked very well.
