This app seems to be everything I want for customizing the right click context menu. But it is also the most janky app I have ever installed on Mac. They have a video along with a discussion board filled with posts on how to “install” or “fix the install” of this app. I have yet to get this app to actually function properly. I don’t want to be so critical, but this is the worst app install experience I have ever had and I am using a relatively new 2024 Macbook Air. I’m glad I didn’t “buy” this app and got to try it from setapp first.

This app is fantastic - when it works. It largely works, but has been a bit buggy. I hope they can stabilize it and improve CPU / resource usage.

UPDATED 4/1/25: Developer wrote back that bug was fixed but I still see software connecting to servers in Shanghai China’s Asia China Telecom with the 4.3.2 update. Host: aibotech.cn IP Addresses: 180.163.140.235 180.163.140.240 180.163.140.241 180.163.140.242 180.163.141.18 180.163.141.19 TCP Port: https (443) Protocol: TCP I will continue to block and may uninstalled if not resolved. UPDATED MARCH 2025 Works as intended but connects to servers in China. This is a red flag for me, so I resorted to blocking external communications for it.

I’ve been using iBoysoft MagicMenu through my Setapp subscription on my MacBook Pro M1 (2021 model). While the app itself has potential, it is the only application on my system that consistently goes into “Not Responding” mode every time I start my Mac. Despite keeping everything updated to the latest version and having zero issues with any other apps (Setapp or native), this problem has persisted for months. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially since I rely on this app for my workflow. For a tool that comes with a Pro subscription, I expected far better stability and support. Please fix this issue—until then, I cannot recommend it.

Very awkward, non-user-friendly setup interface. And the final right-click menus make things harder, not easier to find. And no accommodation for DropBox actions that I use day in, day out,

It works as advertised for a while, then suddenly, I have to uninstall and reinstall to make it work again. This has happened 4 times in 5 months. Annoying.

On every reboot I have to confirm installation of an extension.

I love the recent update that allowed the features in iCloud. I wanted this feature for long!! so Im so glad. but because the way you made it like replacing the original items with 'Show More Options," I need to click twice when I want to create a new folder in iCloud (Show More Options>New Folder) so could you make an extension or something for creating a folder so that I don't need to click twice?

Was giving a vote up for this App, have to give this a vote down after macOS 26 updates. It now changes all my external detachable drive's Finder Icon to this app's Icon.

Doesn’t play nice with default folder, at all. Even ignoring it to move a file you still have to choose the directory, so really no point or efficiency. The concept is good, but unless you want files randomly placed wherever it feels like, then beware. The extensions don’t make sense as duplicates of what the system already has. And if I have to make my own extensions, I might as well write a shell script or a shortcut and bypass the fat.

Ran it for the first time and made some adjustment. Crashes every time since then. A waste.

El programa esta muy bien, pero falla mucho

Sadly I just could not work out how to add custom file formats, no obvious documentation found to explain the proses. Majority of the file formats were of no use to me for every day usefulness.

Hi ! Thanks a lot for your hard work but v4.0 is not requesting Sonoma for Automation privileges and therefore I can not grant it the access. Not working, yet.
