This is a great lightweight app. It gives me the nudges I need to change my posture and my gaze to avoid the physical problems of being on a computer for hours. Works very well. I like that it gives a warning before locking the screen, and that I can override it if I need. It also does a great job of detecting when I’m on a video call so it doesn’t inturrupt the meeting.

Very helpful for break reminders!

I wanted to like LookAway because the idea of helping rest your eyes while working on a PC is great, but the execution is frustrating. The biggest problem is how it handles breaks. If I step away from my computer for a while and then come back, the app asks me to take a break. That makes no sense, I already took a break by being away from the PC.

Althouth it can be annoying at times, it has made me give my eyes some rest when working for long stretches, and the suggestions to move/stretch are also great.

Just started using this app and am really happy with it so far. It’s well thought out and very customizable. I love how it gives you a 30 sec warning before a break is about to start, and allows you to ‘snooze’ a break. This way, if you’re in the middle of an important thought, you can finish your thought before taking the break.

Honestly, this app is really interesting. It really helps you get some breaks off of your screen and improve your posture. I really like it. I find the blinking reminder to be pretty stupid, though, because I pretty much just blink automatically and I don't need a reminder to blink. All other than that, I enjoy using it and I find it pretty great and helpful.

LOVE IT! Have tried a handfull of such apps, this one is the best by far. No skips, smart breaks and phone sync make it a gamechanger for me. Would love to see on the iphone: app selection to NOT block (e.g. an app I use for white noize, so that it’s not interrupted). I need to make just 2-3 exclusions rather than make a list of apps to block

Getting frequent crashes of Setapp version on my work laptop (m3 pro). I also have a non-Setapp version on my personal laptop (m1 pro) and that one works great.

Helpful and unobtrusive enough but also noticeable enough to remind me to adjust my posture and take quick breaks. Automatically pauses itself during video calls and also easy to pause manually.
