weird and confusing, hard to use if you only want to edit locally, as it keeps trying to connect your online blog

I used to use this app all the time when Rapid-Blog for rapidweaver used to work and pull the text from Blogger… Sadly Rapid-Blog is defunct and I now wish it worked with Armadillo the blog stack for Rapidweaver. Still a mighty fine app

Easy to use and after setting-up publishes straight to blog. Much simpler and quicker than logging into a blog web page. I only blog occasionally for my community so I have not evaluated all of MarsEdit’s features

Fantastic blog editor. Just the right features with a very approachable user interface. This app is one of the reasons I subscribe to SetApp.

Verse 5 needs a lot of work. It’s very buggy and I get a lot of spinning beach balls. it also doesn’t seem to really take into account the newer format of WordPress blogs. Adding images is difficult to konw if you have the in the right spot between the right lines if they’re centered on screen. An editable toolbar would be nice too. I’d like to be able to change some things with the click of a button instead of going to menu or right clicking.

It just literally lost all my changes when I tried refreshing from the main WP site I was editing to see if it could find an image that had been uploaded. I hit save before I did this. I saved and still, no local copy in drafts that matches all the changes I made. When I tried closing it after I saw that it did not contain my changes, it warned me. This was way worse than using the web interface because that would have auto-saved. I mean, if hitting “refresh” would cause all local changes to be lost, there should have been a warning on that!

Long time trying to make it work with wordpress… nothing works. Really frustrating.

Sorry, but it doesn’t work with Medium, my blogging platform, So, not very useful.

An excellent, albeit sometimes quirky, app for publishing to MANY systems in a way usually much speedier than doing so through each system's web editor.

I used to love this app and use it often. However, it’s only available on the Mac desktop, which is very limiting. These days I much more frequently use Ulysses, which runs very well on all of my Apple devices.

Es una aplicación esencial para mí, para escribir los posts en local y enviarlos con mucha facilidad a mi blog. Una vez publicados, permite editarlos también muy fácilmente. Es una app clásica de Mac, fácil de entender y de usar y que se convierte en una herramienta imprescindible para publicar y guardar los artículos del blog.
