Great app, I like the UI, a lot of the AI features seem useful, having screen capture OCR built in is useful - but it’s buggy. Sync didn’t work reliably for me on iPhone. Certain features didn’t work at all. Overall it feels like reliability has been sacrificed to cram in more features. I can’t recommend it in this state. I like the app and if the dev gets it running reliably I would give it a thumbs up. Sticking with Paste for now. Edit: after a response from the developer I gave the app another try. Still a thumbs down. OCR works now, but text capture on the Mac is flaky (sometimes slow or doesn’t capture at all) and sync doesn’t work on the iPhone. An everyday utility has to be rock-solid to be useful. Unfortunately Quip fails and the dev seems to have a fairly lackadaisical attitude to reliabilty and testing. Feels like it’s vibe-coded with AI and not properly tested. Paste and TextSniper together do the job reliably and they are both in SetApp.

I really like clipboard managers as they are a key tool for my everyday workflow. I was excited to see this app on Setapp, but that excitement was short-lived after trying it out. Here are the main issues I’ve encountered: Shortcuts: Changing them doesn't work properly. New shortcuts don't seem to save until after an app restart. Vanishing History: Twice now, my history disappeared while navigating with keyboard arrows. Closing and reopening the panel restored them, but it’s a very weird bug. OCR: The OCR copy feature is simply not working. Performance: There is a huge lag before a copied item appears in the list, which defeats the purpose of the tool. Modes: Why can't I permanently switch between panel and popup mode? Also, the current purpose of the popup mode is unclear. Search: Search is vital, but having to click the field instead of just typing is very inefficient. UI: A middle-ground visual mode between "everything" and "hide meta" would be a great addition.

I am going to uninstall for now. It doesn’t respect not copying passwords from 1Password despite having it in the list and there’s other buggy behavior with the way it reacts to and pastes. Most other clipboard managers will move a selection back to the clipboard when you select it in the app. This does not and the placement of the text from the memory of the app to where you had your cursor seems to be hit and miss for me. There also seems to be a keystroke setting that automatically puts the last thing you got from the app if you hit Shift/Return to move down a line in a box like this. Just too many glitchy things right now. I do hope it gets better, because I like where the functionality is headed, but it just seems too buggy for now.

I couldn’t figure out how to get Quip string expansion to trigger when I press the tab key. Getting clipboard history to show in a key combo was flaky.

I’m going to have to agree with other users about the issues with this app. For me, it creates an annoying onscreen visual anomaly when switching between desktops. Secondly, the default key command (shift-command-C) doesn’t work until AFTER you open the settings in the app. I was hoping to use this to replace both Paste and Rocket Typist, but it’s just too buggy at the moment.

Doesn’t actually copy everything no matter what settings I changed. I like the idea and the UI, I’ll check it out again after some updates.

Good concept, but the interface is sluggish, if they fix that, it’ll be a strong competitor against “Paste”. Right is not pleasant to use it.

I like the app, but it needs some updates and fixes to be usefull. I've noticed that when I copy a large piece of code, it doesn't automatically add it to the history list.

Fatal: Die App verspricht keine Passwörter zu kopieren (es gibt einen Button dafür) aber sie kopiert alles! Da muss man sehr aufpassen in welcher Cloud die Daten landen!!!!
