Using on new MacBook Pro M5. Just started using it. Using one of the beach themes and it’s great looking and functioning as advertised. To get it to change time of day, app must be running. This app and the Setapp app are running just fine with no problems either in functionality or resource issues. But, this is a new computer, YMMV. I have an old MBook Pro still running Maverick and I’m really tempted to give it a try just for an experiment.

So far I like it! It’s like working in a different place every day. A few bits of feedback though: I would love a way to filter out AI/“synthesis” wallpapers, since I only want real/traditional photography personally (I’m a hobbyist photographer). Would also be nice to be able to transfer my favorites between my work and personal macs. And I have it set to shuffle after 24 hours, but honestly don’t know when it plans to change the wallpaper. Midnight? 5am? A day after I clicked “next wallpaper”? Would be nice to know that at least, and preferably set it.

Make a filter or a catalog on the sidebar for only locally downloaded wallpapers

Really enjoy the images, scenes, and quality of the photography. The coordination with time of day is an extra special touch!

Very nice in many ways, but with one ENORMOUS Achilles tendon: IT DOES NOT UPDATE ALL DESKTOPS WITH DIFFERENT IMAGES. WHY NOT? One of the main values of a background image is keeping each desktop distinctive!

Most of the wallpars that indicated they were 24 hr didn’t work on my Mac Mini running Apple Silicon. I even went into settings to change it so that the wallpapers were dynamic without the app running and still nothing.

I’m glad it’s on SETAPP, because I use it, its beautiful but it is not worth paying for and you’d better dedicate a massive amount of storage space (I had in the past and was still a bit mad about $$$ lost when I saw it got picked up by SETAPP!) If the beauty and art of it impresses your surroundings and your screens are seen by the public - it’s the way to go - but otherwise - massive hog of storage and sort of CPU. SO moral of the story. I have at least six apps I used sort of liking that weren’t worth subscriptions - ALL ON SETAPP NOW!! “He who laughs last. . . laughs the loudest”

Amazing app for managing wallpapers, the best you could possibly install.

Love the idea and the design but it uses too much GPU

Great functionality, but as of a few months ago, all the wallpapers it’s given me have been AI generated garbage and it looks awful up close. I wish there were a way to filter out the AI generated images as options.

Great follower of time and the love of the desktop behaving like the outdoors. These dynamic wallpapers are locations that coinside with daylight and night where you are at are fantastic. This app offers a significantly large selection of these to keep you happy. High quality images with the smallest amount of computer resources necessary. Cheers!
