Es impresionante cómo mejora la salida del sonido utilizando Boom 3D y no solamente con la música, fantástica app, muy recomendable!!!

O aplicativo tem bons equalizadores, inclusive personalizados por marcas de fones de ouvido. O efeito 3D pode ser ativado e é interessante em algumas músicas. No geral considero um bom incremento ao utilizar fones de ouvido.

Nach anfänglichen Jahren mit hoher Zufriedenheit stört mich die Soundqualität zunehmend. Lautes Knacksen alle 5-10 Sekunden, Störgeräusche wie Staub eines analogen Tonträgers und verzerrter Klang. Sobald Boom aus ist, kann störungsfrei Musik genießen, nur halt ohne den dynamischen Wums.

Hard to use. Sounds fine, but juice not worth the squeeze.

Love it enhances the sound quality dramatically on laptop and speakers when connected.

Too hard to control volume

I use this app as a virtual Mic for high quality audio streaming. I’m not sure why that isn’t hilighted more, but it’s all i’ve used it for, for years.

i have a 16inch M1 Max and if you think it’s already a good sounding laptop, you won’t believe just how much better it gets! Incredible!

My everyday audio driver to eq my headphones and speakers.

It takes away the microphone from my video calls, and it’s impossible to remove it from the MacBook.

the driver is clunky, often pitch bends audio if there are mutliple video or audio sources playing. Definitely a step down from the exeprience I’ve been used to

Crashes often, but when it works it’s great. EDIT: Basically crashes now every single morning. I have to open it like 5 times until it actually opens and starts working.

Amazing app. I use it daily and it allows me to regulate multiple audio devices, app volume and overall sound quality

The app regularly disrupts my internet connection and freezes applications/websites. When I restart Boom 3D, the issues goes away for a few days.

The sound quality for this app is absolutely AMAZING, not other EQ app can compare BUT….. whenever I get a call to my iphone that forwards to my Mac or switch my airpods to my phone then back to my Mac the app hangs. Also the app will sometimes lock the volume at insanely loud levels and won’t change until I force quit the application. Unfortunately because of those bugs I will be looking for another EQ solution.

UPDATED REVIEW. It’s still broken in macOs 15. The orange mic icon blinks incessantly whenever the app is open, whether it’s in use or not. And it still crashes regularly. All I want to do is use the app mixer (the “effects” are gimmicky at best), but even that has become too much of a chore. —— It crashes constantly (16 times in the first 5 minutes of installing). Strange behavior prevents volume control for connected headphones. Although it has nice features, it is not suitable for regular use.
