Works perfect for me, now I can finally have music on my speakers, while my headset when answering phonecalls on my mac. This app is a gem!! Thanks :)

JoyMix 26.5.13.0 crashes immediately on launch The app appears briefly in the menu bar and disappears within a second. No UI is shown at all. The crash is caused by an infinite SwiftUI layout loop when the menu bar popup window tries to render — macOS throws an NSGenericException and kills the app every time. Tested after a clean reinstall with no conflicting audio drivers. The issue is reproducible 100% of the time on macOS

When I connect my Sony MX5, it picks up the noise from the microphone and it reduces the noise-cancelling effect

App craches immediately after it starts. Developer should see if it will work if there is another app installed such as Loopback.app which installs its own Kext. FYI i’m trying to replace Loopback with JoyMix if possible

Good idea and would love to use it, but seems to be unfinished and crashes before i can even play some tunes …

I have so many input and output devices, that the menu does not fit on the screen.

How do you use this? Nothing happens when you click the menu bar icon.

Meh! It does what it does, I suppose. It doesn’t add any control to AirPlay speakers, which is what I really wanted, without digging into the AirPlay settings in Music.

Loving this app so far. I had SoundSource previously but wow what a mess that was to install. This is so much simpler and basically does the same thing. Two things I'd love to see, would be the option to set certain sources as favorites (even if they aren't currently playing sound) so you can still always see them, AND it would be awesome to see the volume percentage as the slider was being moved. My OCD can't handle a volume slider that doesn't tell me where I am from 0–100% 😆

installed just to boost the JoyTap app honestly, but also does a good job of giving a boost to music playing out of other programs. love being able to split the sound outputs as well.

It is just one step away from being perfect for me honestly. I would really love it if it would allow me to control the volume of external audio devices which don’t natively support with the keyboard!

Well, I suppose the app works as intended. My only wish would be to be able to disable devices so my mac doesn't switch to them. For exemple I have 2 external screens that are "audio capable" and very often my mac switch to them, and I want them "gone" from the audio capability. I though that you app would do something like that, but apparently not, but again, from what I've seen not really... I might be wrong.

Absolutely insane find. I have spent YEARS trying to find a simple way to be able to play music from Spotify on my Mac via a Bluetooth speaker while having everything else play from my laptop. Every workaround for this required either technical knowledge I was not bothered to develop or came as a feature in some expensive sound engineer-y software for which I was not prepared to fork out hundreds - all in service of solving this fairly minor, very first world problem. And then boom! Enter JoyMix! Problem solved in seconds! Bonus points for not making me see a ‘Would you like to receive notifications’ prompt when I opened it - any app worth its salt that does one thing and one thing only should never need to notify me about anything. Work from home vibes just got slightly better. My stress levels are the lowest they’ve been in hours.But seriously, top-tier app. Now tied with Unclutter as my favorite SetApp app, and that’s the one that got me to sign up in the first place. Keep it up!
