OpenIn is a must-have. The app gives me the control I need and expect when going back and forth between desktop and web apps, links from friends, etc.

An already great tool just became indispensable. The automatic profile detection works like magic, and scripting support is a feature I didn't know I needed. Kudos to the developer!

yep love this, do a lot of testing across browsers so this tools works great for it. if I had a wish list would be nice to have a drop down within firefox to select what container to use. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search and in the same direction with Chrome what profile to start up in.

Great app with tons of utility. The developer is helpful and responsive as well. This is an essential for any Mac.

UPDATE: The developer is very responsive, and I regret not reaching out sooner. The issue was easy to resolve, the result of overlooking a setting on my part. I am currently using it only as a browser picker, but I look forward to seeing how else I can benefit—great application and support. UPDATE: I went back to Velja after some frustration setting up an added Edge Profile. Support reached out to help me. I originally started with Velja and switched to OpenIn because I preferred the compact vertical stack of options to Velja’s horizontal icons layout. I will work with support to get this resolved and I look forward to the new release promising to auto-discover browser profiles. ORIGINAL REVIEW: It was great until I tried adding another edge profile, but it failed to appear. Now, I have to use an alternative Velja to get it done.

Game changer

I love the app. But… I can’t turn it off when I don’t want the multiple options. I’ve the CMD click rule, but that does not seem to work… I’m guessing its a permissions issue in some way. But until I can get support with this, ill have to keep installing and uninstalling… which turns out to be faster/easier.

So helpful! Even if you use web-based email (like Fastmail or otherwise), you can now click mailto: links and have them trigger composing a new email!

I have two different browsers on my Mac for personal and work use and OpenIn is a life saver. Makes it super easy to keep things separated. You can also open links not only in browsers but other apps too. For example, I added Zoom to the list.

Generally a great app for establishing custom app schemes. Occassionally will open duplicate browser tabs, but that’s the only bug I’ve seen lately!

Good, but I wanted it to have the option to only offer me which browser to open in if multiple browsers were open, but it always gives me the option which I don't always want.

Very useful, especially if you use multiple browsers.

Wonderful tool once you setup the rules. I have different chrome profiles, for example, for different clients.
