Works as expected, but at the cost of incredibly high CPU usage. Can't even open a browser when CloudMounter is active. I uninstalled it and use WebDAV build in with Commander One.

Great app, all my syncing services in one, and it is much less resource intense than the Dropbox app

Oh wow, after using native apps for Google Drive and OneDrive, trying to make rclone, nfsmount, fuse-t and others to work, CloudMounter feels like magic. On macOS Tahoe (Apple Silicon) it’s smooth, stable, and Finder finally stays responsive even with huge folders. Mounting is instant, syncing is reliable, and the cache controls are simple but powerful. No random freezes, no RAM spikes, no babysitting scripts. I can just work and forget it’s there. This is exactly the “it just works” experience I wanted. Easily one of the best tools in my Setapp stack.

Very good, though when I try encrypting my drives, being about 600gb each, it does a really awful job, usually succeeding at encrypting folder names and nothing else (directory not found errors usually).

After reaching my limit with Google Drive’s desktop app with constant multi-account authentication and syncing issues, I switched to CloudMounter and haven’t looked back. Ever since I switched back in January, it has made it so much easier to manage all my cloud storage drives. Only thing I wish it handled better is copying links to share files as doing so from within Finder will make the shared file fully public. However, that’s small thing compared to all the headaches it’s eliminated for me.

I needed a way to mount my BackBlaze buckets on my MacBook Pro. Cloud Mounter is perfect and works seamlessly.

I want to like this app, but after a few installs, then uninstalls because of issues not working, I am again uninstalling. The drive shows as being “mounted” but is not seen in Finder. I unmounted it, then remounted it again. Still no appearance of the cloudmounter connection. Tried a couple times more by removing the connection and then signing in again with a new connection. Still no appearance of the cloudmounter drive. At this point, I am done trying to use it. While it worked, it is a great idea, but then why spend a lot of time trying to get it to work again, when I can just as easily use Transmit or Forklift to access my cloud drive.

I wanted to try CloudMounter for the umpteenth and final time, and found it to be completely unusable. During a copy operation to Google Drive, it filled my internal disk (a 2TB disk) with 1.23TB of cache!). Furthermore, it's not even possible to choose which disk to use for the cache. Unthinkable.
