Fantastic app! Very usefull. Definitely a daily driver. Had some small issues with it not launching at startup. But only once in a while, so no biggie.

Needed to replace Clocker App as the development seems to have ceased on it, and Claude recommended Dato. Was delighted to see it in Setapp! I really just want the timezones and menu bar time that Clocker gave me,and so far it’s been good. Have managed to replicate most of the look and feel I wan in Dato, and have sent some questions and suggestions to the dev. Big one for me now is being able to add the timezone under the time in the menu bar, so fingers crossed they are able to do that. Gotta love Setapp! :)

Dato is a full-screen meeting reminder app for macOS that’s incredibly useful for keeping track of important meetings. Its biggest strengths are its simplicity and elegant design. You can pin your upcoming meetings directly in the menu bar as reminders, and the drop-down view is cleaner than BusyCal’s and clearer than In Your Face’s. The only minor drawback is that Dato separates the main app icon and the menu bar reminder into two independent items, which can feel a bit redundant at first. Fortunately, you can hide the main app icon and keep only the menu bar reminder visible. You can even make both icons identical, achieving the same clean appearance as In Your Face. Overall, Dato can easily serve as a full replacement—or even an upgrade—for In Your Face. It offers more comprehensive features at a much lower price.

Slight performance issues opening the app, but great feature set

I often forget that the beautiful, neat calendar app I use did not come with macOS.

Love this app.

Useful, and great for folks like me who forget about upcoming meetings after less than 5 minutes since my first reminder appeared.

I was *desperate* for this to work but it did not. I tried every setting available and still I could not display the upcoming event in the menu bar, which is the feature I sorely needed.

Great app, and developer was very responsive in helping me out with a minor issue caused by Tahoe, which he had already addressed!

great app if you work across timezones and need a real event reminder. I have multiple clocks for different timezones set in my mac bar, and the reminders for meetings are unmissable.
