I like this a lot but, like reviewer Ash said, “snooze option is only for reminders but not for tasks. You can see the task title but not for a reminder.” If these changes were made this would be a 100% must-use app for me.

It works great, but I would love it if I could set reminders in advance or repetitive (every 30min for stretching or looking away from the screen for example, or at 2pm on Tuesday, etc) Since it’s designed for distracted minds, remembering to set a reminder won’t happen consistently!

Thank you for the positive feedback. Initially, I planned and focused specifically on short term upcoming reminders, which is why I did not include long term planning. However, I am working on an updated version where I will expand the task manager features so you will be able to plan such reminders and set up recurring schedules 🙌

Love this app and the new update. but is it possible to type in a specific time (for example, 2pm) instead of typing in minutes?
Response from Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, you can enter a specific time, but for now only the 24-hour format is supported, so in your case you can enter 14:00 and the minutes will be calculated automatically 👌

UPDATE: I see now from the creator’s comments that this app was intended for people with ADHD, and I understand now why it doesn’t have some of the features I expected. However, I really like the UX of this app and if it can provide more general use I would happily use it for a range of task reminders. I WOULD REALLY WELCOME COLOUR CODING & THE ABILITY TO ENTER A FUTURE TIME PLS. ORIGINAL: I really love the simple design and UI of this app. It’s a pleasure to use and the full screen reminders are great. It needs the option to just enter a concrete time. If I need a reminder for 11am for a meeting or whatever, I actually have to do the math in my head to set it for the right time. PLEASE PLEASE add this feature ASAP. Also, it is a little hard to click on the time to edit it. You have to be very precise on the number. I would like a little more room here — it would make it feel better to use. Perhaps just a slightly bigger bar for the time. Really promising though — thank you!!

Thanks 💚 I took the feedback into account and added in the new version the ability to enter not only minutes but also a specific time, which will automatically be converted into minutes. You can now also quickly add time to the timer by clicking on it.

Nice idea, utterly annoying interface. This trend of having to squint to figure out which tiny monochrome menu bar icon is for which program is so backwards.

Sorry to hear that the interface didn’t work for you. It would be great if you could share your expectations for an app like this, either here or by email at [email protected] – it would really help us improve it

Clever app that has turned out to be much more useful for me than I originally thought. The perfect custom Pomodoro.

Love the app. I have one question: is it possible that widget shows in all desktop spaces. Now I have 3 desktop spaces for different apps. When start widget on Space 1 and swtich to Space 2, widget stays on Space 1.

Thank you for the feedback 💚 The widget window behaves like any other standard window, so it can only be on one monitor at a time and unfortunately cannot be duplicated. You can choose the monitor for the widget in the settings.

Pretty handy, especially when you’re in the zone, and don’t want to forget a hard stop or time-sensitive reminder.

I just discovered this app. I think it's great, because I used to miss the little pop-up from the Apple Reminders app, along with others. This reminder that takes up almost the entire screen suits me perfectly! However, I thought that synchronization with Apple Reminders worked both ways, meaning that reminders entered on my iPhone would also trigger a visual reminder in your app. But maybe that's too complicated? In any case, well done and thank you, I really like it! EDIT: New idea: the snooze is set to 5 minutes. I think it would be handy to be able to adjust this setting, either by typing in the desired number of minutes or by pulling on three vertical lines as for the initial setting.

Thanks. I’ve updated the version: now you can choose different durations for snooze a reminder, and you can also just tap the active timer to extend its time. I’ve added the rest of the ideas to the backlog for future versions 🙏

Loving it so far. Concept and aesthetics are great. Adding repeatability would improve it for me. I’ve mentioned that to the devs who seem very responsive. So looking good

Super convenient app. I started using it as a reminder, but now I mainly use it to create tasks with a timer. I’ll set, say, 20 minutes for something and stay totally focused. Seeing the countdown really helps me avoid distractions. I use it every day — big thanks to the developers!

Overall, I think the app has potential. Some of the things that hinders from usage is why the snooze option is only for reminders but not for tasks. You can see the task title but not for a reminder. It would be nice to set a reminder to automatically show up every day or every work day at a particular time, i.e. ‘review the to-do list every morning at 9am’. Also, it would be good if I can restart a task or reminder from the history. Would be nice if I can set a different color of the splash screen based on task/reminder or just in general. The gray is rather boring. Will review again after the new version.

Hi Ash, this is a specialized app for short term reminders and tasks meant for right now, like “Turn off the oven.” Task titles are shown specifically to help keep them in your focus. As for the color, it’s not actually gray, it always adapts based on your desktop wallpaper and the windows currently open in the background.

Would like to be able to move the timer around on the desktop, rather than just top or bottom. Often its in the way. Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback. You can move the widget anywhere on the screen. To do this, hold the (+) button and drag it to any place on the screen.

This app is SO INSANELY HELPFUL FOR MY HYPER ADHD. I run calls where I teach and I sometimes get so engrossed in what I’m saying that I forget question time. This have been so DAMN useful for so many things. I love the UX and the blurry background. Wishlist: - Vertical Mode so it stretches downward, so I can put the timer, on the right hand side of my screen. (I have 4 screens) - Colour Coding: So I can see which time means what at a glance - Emojis: I can’t type with Emojis but Bathroom Break🚻 would be so cool. - Choose a time to countdown toward. - Expanded mode that can stretch further. - Preset Reminders I use frequently so I can just press it in a mini menu. Even if these aren’t implemented, this APP IS A DREAM ALREADY.

The reminder panel is not big enough and setting it is non-intuitive i.e. it is possible to forget to click the reminder word, in which case the countdown doesn’t start
Response from Developer

There are three widget size options in the settings, and you can increase it if needed. To start the timer, you don’t need to click on the ‘reminder word’ – it starts when you press Return on the keyboard after entering the text. We’d really appreciate it if you could send us more detailed feedback about what you feel is missing in the app by emailing us at [email protected].

Realmente buena.

It says tasks and reminders, I cannot figure out how to switch between them, I am not sure if this is also why I cannot set a task without a timer. I would find it highly irratating if I was constantly reseting timers for tasks I don’t need for a couple days. Also, you can only set timers by minutes, no option to change to days or hours, I don’t want to have to calculate how many minutes 1 day 3 hours from now is for example.

Hi Gary, This app is primarily designed for people with ADHD who either lose focus easily or get stuck in hyperfocus. It’s also meant to help set quick short-term reminders, like “Turn off the kettle in 3 minutes” or “Call Alex back in 20 minutes.” That’s why there’s no option to set a timer for tomorrow – there are many other apps that handle that well, like Apple Reminders. The same goes for tasks - they are meant to be started immediately, for example, a 25-minute session to help you focus right now in a Pomodoro-style workflow. I’m sorry to hear there was so much confusion and that our product disappointed you 🥲
