I can’t even add many apps like Safari. It’s always lagging… Apps don’t appear even though they’re in the Applications folder.

We've had an issue with some of the native apps after the latest release of MacOS. We're working on a fix for this we hope to have out soon!

Hello, Great tool. After launching Pie Menu, I have to select the shortcut using mouse. Isn’t the point of this to be able to use shortcut and not mouse? Or am I missing something?

Hi! The point of the app is to get the menu around the mouse and that you don't have to remember shortcuts. No matter your active app you'll be able to access your most used shortcuts by only remembering one command.

This Combined with Better Touch Tool is amazing. Especially when using a mouse. Can add app Shortcuts to the wheel.

Review update… The developer change the one setting that was holding me back from using Pie Menu. Now trying to add it to my work flow.

It’s an app with a lot of potential but it lacks of a powerful feature. The app should be able to run global commands for the whole system. I want to be able to trigger specific shortucts globally instead of add the same command across the 100 apps I have installed.

My two suggestions: 1). Use concentric circles to layout shortcuts In production, there are many cases you need access to like 10 different shortcuts. The current layout limited the best use case to fewer shortcuts like the top 4, because with more shortcuts, sectors become too small to navigate precisely. I heavily rely on a chrome extension called "Circle Mouse Gestures (pie menu)." The developer can learn from their concentric circles layout make it easy for users to access more shortcuts (like over 10.) 2). Leverage the Mac two-finger force touch as trigger If I still need both my hands to use Pie menu, why not just use the shortcuts? But if you can make Pie menu a tool to allow users to perform complex operations with one hand, it's a huge deal by giving user a free hand! The developer could leverage the two-finger force touch on Mac as the trigger. This is also universal across touchboard, magic mouse, track pad. Anyway, I think the app is on the right track. Good luck!

Hi, Boyan! 1) We are considering adding submenus as well! You can vote for it here: https://www.pie-menu.com/help/roadmap 2) I have currently set up Pie Menu with a three finger click with the help of BetterTouchTool (also in Setapp). You can download a preset here: https://www.pie-menu.com/help/show-options We'll look into incorporating it natively as well!

Hi, Fabián! I'm sorry to hear! Is it something we could change with the app that would change your mind? Please reach out to [email protected] We're releasing a version this week where you can click once for the menu to appear after a lot of feedback. - Marius

Great concept and the online library is the killer feature here. Unfortunately I’m having issues with system apps like Safari not being listed (or able to add them) so I can’t customize anything.

Glad you like the concept! Unfortunately we have some issues with some of the system apps that worked before as Apple change how they behave now and then. We are on it and hope to release a fix on that soon!

Perfect idea... very useful app By the way, I mainly use it in Arc Browser.. I would really like the option to add custom icons (I use pie menu as an application launcher) And it would also be mega great if it could understand the context of web pages (for example, a different set of shortcuts for different websites) And it would be absolutely awesome to have at least 2 levels of menu

Thanks for the feedback, Andrej! We have plans for custom icons. What do you want here? Emojis or png/svg? We've gotten multiple requests on understanding the context of webpages - would you be fine with adding an browser plugin for that? We are also planning multiple levels of menus. You can vote more on our roadmap at https://www.pie-menu.com/help/roadmap and send us more feedback at [email protected]

Too difficult to use - should not rely on a keyboard command - would love to see mouse support. Especially for Logitech.

You can trigger the keyboard command from mouse. Most Logitech mouse have support for setting up triggering keyboard shortcuts on the different buttons. If you map that to the keyboard shortcut in Pie Menu it should work. If you want support for three finger tap you can download the BetterTouchTool-setup from our website: https://www.pie-menu.com/help/show-options If you have any ideas on how we could make this more usefule, easier to use or other features, send a mail to [email protected]

Mixed support for Safari, which is what I downloaded it for. It will open and work with out of the box functionality, but doesn’t appear in the app (and so cannot be customized)

Hi, Lucas! We have found some issues with certain apps we are working on, Safari being one of them! Hopefully the fix will be out soon! We are currently moving from locating apps by app-names to bundle-id's. Hopefully that will solve the issue! - Marius from Pie Menu
