Spark delete all my pinned emails (affected to the original mail boxes). WTH???

Sounds good in theory, but it falls apart when using it. Email’s category won’t sync across desktop and mobile. Calendar invites from different time zones are converted incorrectly in the desktop app. You cannot chat with meeting notes. Calendars don’t sync properly, new events often missing. While using search, some emails are not marked as done, even if they are done.

It became completely useless after Microsoft 365 authorization update. My company is okay for me to use email clients but does not wnat me to use Outlook calendar externally for some reason. Almost every mail client (including Spark before update) was able to access my account. But now that Spark has changed the OAUTH method it is no longer allowed by my company. Missing better/more markdown support. I want to be able to switch to markdown when composing an email, which will then be rendered automatically (like Typora does).

the only app where composing emails is typographically beautiful than all other apps. Markdown or something similar to Notion would be nice for writting. But overall, it’s great. Unfortunately, Setapp doesn’t seem to include full MCP/Claude integration — apparently you need the Pro plan for that, and it doesn’t seem to be part of the Setapp subscription.

I was pretty happy with Spark, but forced to jump into Spark Mail “because it couldn’t handle hotmail accounts anymore”. The experience with Spark Mail has been so horrible (stuck emails that aren’t sent, laggy, bloated) that I’m already looking for alternatives. And I am not the only one thinking that way because, miraculously, what was not possible is now a reality and seems that Spark Classic is now handling hotmail without issues. But the trust is gone.

Spark fue mi app de mail por años. Pero la última versión es confusa, difícil de usar y lenta, lentísima… Pasan muchos segundos para despelgar un mensaje, todavía más si se trata de un hilo y minutos para hacer la descarga de adjuntos. Lo estoy borrando y regresando a Apple Mail. Una lástima.

Really impressed with it. Better than apple mail on desktop and moble, and that is hard to do. Much better search of Google accounts and has AI.

I've been using the old version for years, but recently I switched to the new Spark. At first, I didn't like it because the design wasn't intuitive for me. However, after a few days, I started to really love it. I finally managed to really clean up my inbox!. Updated review — June 2026: Recently, the whole app has become slow, glitchy, and freezes constantly. Sometimes it uses over 1,200% CPU on my M3 Max Mac, so I’m now looking for a replacement..-

I love that now i can connect it with my fave AI agent, and have it read, summarize, search emails across multiple accounts. game changer.

My favourite email app! Unfortunately, this app is heavy-handed on the business side of features, but it’s still my favourite way to email.

Good. Very good. In fact, so good that this app’s review has now reached the required length, allowing the submit button to become available.

The one thing this does better then the navtive gmail app is that it blocks unwanted emails. Once blocked, the address does not apprear in Gmail again.

I've been using Spark Mail for five or six years now, and something in a recent update seems to have broken things — emails take longer to open than they used to, and there's a noticeable lag, sometimes freezing for a second or two. It's genuinely frustrating.
