App version: 1.5.0.1

Does what it says it does. Is it super fast? No, but it’s not just putting a few files down. I would guess the users giving negative reviews are the ones that are the problem, not the app itself.

A piece of garbage, constant EXC_CRASH errors. Completely unusable. Absolutely unsuitable for pet projects, learning, and especially for commercial development.

Unable to use my existing up-to-date LTS node binary I’ve installed using mise (asdf) and is 100% in the PATH Not the BIGGEST issue but gives me the sense this is poorly built

Response from Developer

Nov 30, 2024

Hey there Haig! Sorry for the inconvenience. We do not utilize variables in your PATH, but try to locate existing node binaries at their usual locations (due to various internal reasons). We currently support node installations with nvm, brew and direct installations from the node website, with asdf support already planned for the next release that should come out in a week or so.

first, there is no way to exit the onboarding. or at least skip through each step. Second, there is a whole bunch of config things the app does before I can use it. why are frameworks and kits preperared if the user never specifed wanting to use it? its very possible a developer would want in app purchasaes but not firebase!

Hello, let me address these issues you’re facing: - There is a way to skip the onboarding. Simply press enter. But thanks for your feedback, we may see that some may find it unintuitive and will add an explicit indicator that the onboarding can be skipped. - The preparation step is only making sure that the available modules are correctly initialized. After that, during the setup process, you can pick and choose what exact Modules you need in your application and toggle them (press the checkmark on the Module Selection screen).

downloaded to build a watch app. no support.

Response from Developer

Feb 20, 2025

Hello, Sorry that it didn’t meet your expectations, but we never stated anywhere that SL supports building watchOS apps out of the box. All of our marketing and product material clearly states that this product only creates iOS applications. Are you also disappointed when you go to an Asian restaurant and they don’t have pasta on the menu? All the best, Vladislav

Amazing for iOS App Developers (especially beginners!). Excellent documentation. Takes a bit long on the first run, but the second project generation took much quicker.
