Elegant typing experience— maybe the best I’ve seen. Great ourlining capabilities and use of the keyboard. Needs an iOS (and then iPadOS) companion app to become part of my workflow.

Good quality outliner with some very unique features.

This is my favorite writing app on setapp.

Bike has solved my workflow. I work in plaintext files, and I get overwhelmed when my notes get too long. Bike allows me to expand, collapse, and focus in/out of sections with easy-to-remember shortcut keys, cutting down on information overload—empowering me to architect great notes. Other outliner tools may have more many bells and whistles. But I don’t need to get dragged down into writing yaml frontmatter I’ll never use. A problem with bulkier outliners like logseq, is that once your data garden is large enough to lean on its rich searching and querying power, the program becomes too slow for a good experience. My only suggestions to the dev are 1. I would love it if collapsing an item made nested items also collapse (when reopening the parent). 2. When I press to move my cursor to the end of a line, I’m always accidentally pressing the near-invisible “focus in" button. It drives me crazy some days. Overall, Bike is a great outliner with incredible performance.

One of my favorite apps on setapp. Use it to organize everything now. I really hope that the devloper never stops working on this app. My whole life basically exists on this app at this point.

It’s great other than the incremental crashing; which hasn’t effected me too greatly since it seems to save the last place I was at. I wish that files could be exported into a .txt, .docx, or otherwise for increased accessibility and ease of use across programs. Otherwise, I’m pleased with the app and know I will be using “Bike” for many purposes!

A perfectly flexible note-taking / outlining app. I use it for work, with a different file for each project or topic.
