I love the idea of the app but still needs a bit of improvements. The app crashes very often (M4 Macbook Pro), and majority of times it doesn’t open when the computer starts. Plus, I didn’t find a way so “chimes” don’t overplay (if I got one in 30 mins and another in 90 mins, instead of two it should be just one screen combine and two chime-spunds combined? Another improvement wil be that when the chime takes over the screen, it allows you to click done via the enter keyboard and not with clicking exactly on the bottom with the mouse. Again, great idea, still a few techie errors, 3.5/5. And I’d also love to be avaiable on Android mobile too.

Multiple problems with the app not working. Filled of UI bugs and papercuts

I like it but I need a way to restart the chimes after the computer goes to sleep otherwise by the time I remember I haven’t relaxed my eyes it’s already 5 PM and I’m almost blind…

Clunky and not very intuitive

Love it!

Good but very new: crashed when I was just changing the alert volume in the settings (and now I can't restart it). It needs to have an automatic pause when i have Do Not Disturb on (e.g., during video calls)

I have not found a way to get Chimeful to go on every time I open the computer. When it doesn’t automatically come on, I keep forgetting about it.

They should make the app look a bit more macOS-like. The logo itself needs rework, too.

I am trying to use it as a focus tool. So it snaps me out of procrastination. But for this to work effectively I need it to not chime when I am actually working (I.e. when active app is Final Cut) and whenever I loose attention and go somewhere else it starts chiming with the word «Focus»

Works great although I’m still getting used to using it, but it’s definitely promising, especially for my ADHD brain that forgets to take break let alone look away from my monitors. Support was super responsive fixing the bug I reported.

I have used similar apps in the past and found them to be somewhat useful but this one is the best so far. I think the main plus point for me is the minimalistic UI. It is a pleasure to set up and use and I like the little bars filling up. Small touches like this really improve an app for me. I am using it to remind me to take breaks but I appreciate the flexibility to have one-off reminders or a fixed schedule. Thanks for creating. Jon [N.B. Doesn’t work on Intel Mac

I like the concept, but it crashes.

Chime needs a better collection of tones/sounds and to return focus to whatever was last had focus when an alert is dismissed. Once those are taken care of, it’d be perfect.

Not much value and fires to often by default

Tempted to give this a negative rating because of the limited scope. Because it was advertised in “In Your Face”. I was expecting it to be a replacement for that app. It is instead a pretty nice timer app. It can do timers for anything, but don’t expect much more than that. I’d love it if this functionality could instead be added to In Your Face or vice versa. I do like the look and feel of this a bit better, so maybe a “less in your face” feature added to this one that allows the more subtle reminder styles to be added.

Clicking the app icon in the menu bar resulted in too many items being added, making it impossible to scroll vertically to view them all.

I really wanted to like it as it looks much nicer than my current tool (Time Out), but I need the option to set the length of the break and have it show remaining time in the UI
