Excelente App, de las primeras que instalo al comprar una nueva Mac, mantiene a raya todo el sistema hace que mis Mac’s antiguas no lo parezcan tanto.

„Spotlight Speedup“ corrupted my Spotlight, nothing could be found anymore. Claude Code helped me to fix it again and recommended to uninstall this app. After investigating further my conclusion is that Mac OS does not need „cleaning“ and handles its housekeeping chores much better itself as by apple intended. just my 2 cents ,-)

Intransparent, wants to be open all the time in your menu bar, doesn’t find much stuff to clean up anyway. But it the app itself is almost 400 MB. For what exactly? All those useless animations and video clips? From the apps that needed an update, it displayed 4 as “Vital Updates”. None of these updates were actually vital. Installing updates takes forever, some updates fail. The performance fixes are mostly useless, many can be achieved with a reboot, or with free software. It is also trying to “uninstall” apps that sit anywhere on a drive, not just in /Applications, the same goes for any installers it finds. And it doesn’t say where the things are located either. So it might just “clean up” your archive of apps and installers without being asked. I think most of this app is bloatware.

It has differing opinions on it’s utility, but for me cleaning up purgeable space has been a big boon and it’s one of the biggest reasons I subscribe to SetApp

Works, makes everything obvious as to what it is doing which keeps it accessible. Reasonably fast for what it’s doing.

Amazing! Cleaned up my M1 Macs when its about to be out of space and now i can expand the lifespan of this macbook!

On the first run the app cleaned a ton of junk and instantly improved performance. Definitely worthwhile.

I was a bit sceptical. I had a bad experience with automatic system cleanup/repair tools for other platforms (you know what I mean ;) ). This works as expected.
