Not only is the interface unintuitive, but the app also freezes. This should be removed from SetApp.

Too basic (only ICU, no flags support, no substitutions). Frozen after 2 clicks. Sorry, not useful

I love this app - have been using RE's for decades but this really help getting them right quickly rather than laboring over them.

There doesn’t seem to be a way to test and preview regex substitutions in this app. If that is the case, then it’s as good as useless for any serious regex testing. If I’m wrong, I’ll change or delete this review.

Very limited functionality. regex101.com and regex.ai are much more useful.

when chosing the right panel option, the tool freezes

Freezes often. Can’t open panes. Removing this until a new version comes out.

Friert nach wenigen Sekunden ein. Bekomme nicht einmal Text eingetippt. Ein Klick auf einen Button offenbarte dann das doch etwas ankam. Dafür fror es dann mal wieder ein.

Only supports the ICU regex standard - not PCRE, POSIX...

Good software.

i couldn't find a way how to use flags. also it doesn't recognize delimeters to eventually ignore them. at the end of the day basic regexp101 has more rich functionality

Great tool for wrassling with regular experssions

I wanted to learn Regular Expressions to conduct complex searches for document editing and filing. I had never used Regex before and Expressions made it relatively easy to learn and develop the searches I needed. I will not need it very often as once I ave developed search criteria I save them. Nevertheless, it is reassuring to have Expressions to create new ones in the future.
