One of my fave apps - I’m someone who hyperfocuses very easily and can forget to stand up, drink water, or take a break for 10 hours straight. This has been a gamechanger for me.

Very effective at creating a space for mindfulness on your computer screen.

Wonderful app! I have had eye issues from using the computer many hours and this helps remind me! Love the soft reminders and slouch reminder and it gets out of the way when you don’t need it! Highly recommend this!

Getting frequent crashes of Setapp version on my work laptop (m3 pro). I also have a non-Setapp version on my personal laptop (m1 pro) and that one works great.

This is a great lightweight app. It gives me the nudges I need to change my posture and my gaze to avoid the physical problems of being on a computer for hours. Works very well. I like that it gives a warning before locking the screen, and that I can override it if I need. It also does a great job of detecting when I’m on a video call so it doesn’t inturrupt the meeting.

Very helpful for break reminders!

I wanted to like LookAway because the idea of helping rest your eyes while working on a PC is great, but the execution is frustrating. The biggest problem is how it handles breaks. If I step away from my computer for a while and then come back, the app asks me to take a break. That makes no sense, I already took a break by being away from the PC.

i’m really stubborn, and yet, i find this genuinely helpful. beautiful interface too. relaxing. i’m more mindful using it. i didn’t realize just how tunnel vision zoned in i get in my projects- it’s nice to be gently reminded to pop my head back up for air. thanks for making this. <3 hardcore recommend.

Honestly, this app is really interesting. It really helps you get some breaks off of your screen and improve your posture. I really like it. I find the blinking reminder to be pretty stupid, though, because I pretty much just blink automatically and I don't need a reminder to blink. All other than that, I enjoy using it and I find it pretty great and helpful.

best app for health while. set it and forget it, until it reminds you of itself
