Quite simply the best app on Setapp and its under constant development!

I have only used NotePlan for 3 days now, but I can already see that I am going to like it. So many similar programs that I have used in the past have had some one or two things that ended up making them a deal-breaker. So far in NotePlan, I have not encountered that situation.

The daily notes system means that I can combine tasks, notes and calendar events very simply and effectively in one place. This, and time-blocking, makes it the only task app which I have actually stuck with using, as it is so friction-free. There is a lot of flexibility if you want to tinker, but it is straight up simple and useable. Repeating tasks are a bit faffy but that is probably the only standard feature you have to dig into the app a bit to sort. Incredibly responsive developer and community.

I’ve tried Craft, Notion, and EverNote and I feel like NotePlan has nailed it the most for me. It’s got the freedom of being able to free form notes with the smarts that integrates todos with calendars.

A solid native Mac app, and a viable and capable alternative Obsidian app. The daily note and calendar function is my favorite.

New user, so far addicted. Every year I go through a conundrum searching high and low for a non-paper option to do well with block scheduling, tasks between 5 calendars, extra projects, personal, work, family, and spouse life… I’m still learning, but this seems to be the home I have been searching for for over 5 years. I am an ultra-productive person and can never seem to find that exact IT factor in all the to-do apps out there. This has the IT factor! Thank you to the developers. I agree with many of the great reviews already mentioned. I’ll update this later with a more refined review once I get the hang of it. Right now, I’m just so happy with how the daily plan and blocking are going to get more realistic with my “super mom / super worker” mentality and “never enough time” in my day.

This app brilliantly bridges the gap between my todolists and calander and allows for excellent tracking of tasks that I have and havent completed. I am so glad to have come across it.

If you’ve previously been a bullet journaler and are looking for a digital alternative, this is the best I have found. Easy cloud syncs between devices and seamless integration of the calendar items. I only wish it had a few more formatting options, just for some creative fun and whimsy.

Anazing app, I wish I tried it sooner. Swithing from Obsidian to NotePlan. It just suits my brain better, as it is centred on your daily tasks and calendar. It integrates with your calendars and reminders, thus making it easy to plan, reflect, timeblock etc. Plus it is native, has a browser version that can be used on Windows if needed, and the subscription already incudes syncing and publishing (goodbye Obsidian Sync).

NotePlan has been my ‘second brain’ app for almost a year now. What sets it apart from the many, many other apps I’ve tried is that it successfully combines task management with timeblocking as well as notetaking. Two-way calendar sync would make it even better!
