Great utility. Some see no need for this type of app but I’ve come to appreciate the value and peace of mind it brings to my computers.

Get ready to have Mac Paw ignore all your preferences. Open the CleanMyMac app and get asked if you’d like to disable tracking - say yes and then after set up is complete go to settings, you’ll see they didn’t follow your response to not track - you’ll want to manually disable data collection. Now head to the Assistant Menu and turn that off along with all malware and file scanning, then quit the app. When the app is quiting, you’ll get prompted to enable the menu to ensure you’re safe - just say no to that. Ohh but wait what’s that, the menu assistant is active in the menu bar and the switch has been engaged when opening the app. WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE. Mac Paw owns CMM and is just here to collect your data for their own benefit. Highly recommend canceling your subscription to Setapp a Mac Paw company.

CleanMyMac does everything that it says it would do. It lets you keep your Mac running as well as it can be, and does a great job with freeing up disk space too. I recommend this app.

Excellent cleaner and it helps keep my low memory machine operational as most of my things are in icloud anyways.

Works great!

I’ve not had another Mac cleaner app so complete, so efficient, and so trustworthy. The other shoe may drop, but for now it’s become almose addictive. Why Apple doesn’t recommend cleaner apps I’ll never know.

Keeps my mind at rest - I use additional security stuff but this lets my machines work quickly and efficiently.

I have been using CleanMyMac X for several years before upgrading to the latest CleanMyMac and I find the app really useful to housekeep my Mac and keep it running fast and smooth. Love it’s malware checker too and now in Setapp I can finally download Moonlock as well! Overall experience is fantastic! MacPaw did a great job with these 2 apps ❤️👍🏼🌈
