Good app, have been using it for years, but sadly it’s development has stopped, no support for new formats like AV1 or VP9, Apple change the covers to vertical again and the app just ignored it, keeps pushing for horizontal artwork…

I wish there was a star rating. This is my ‘go to’ metadata app. But, it needs an update as there’s far too many ‘bugs’ or UI tweaks needed for far too long. Biggest problem: adding subtitles used to be a killer feature but one recurring bug is for iFlicks to change the length of a movie to 4 hours when it adds as subtitle. It takes another app to fix that. It’d be nice to have a limit to the Cast & Crew tags. I have to manually trim the cast to the featured players. I have to delete all the other people added to the director tag, I have to clear EVERYONE from the Producers tag because it dumps almost everyone involved with production there, including the music creator. It’s similar with other tag categories. I know iFlicks is pulling from TheMovieDB and TheTVDB, but better filtering is needed. I have a feeling iFlicks is AbandonWare since the copyright is unchanged since 2020or 2021 (depending on where you look). For now, thumbs up but trending to thumbs down.

A great way to maintain your personal movie and tv collection

Brilliant. Thought TV app was renaming my files with some random gibberish. Turns out editing meta data was what I needed to do. iFlicks helped me do just that.

It’s a great app, but needs updated to support the latest MacOS. Crashes a lot and icon displays at a tiny size in the dock when opening.

I’m imagining it was designed to work with older versions of itunes and not with AppleTV.

Excellent app. A little clunky in parts (UX wise) but otherwise, it does exactly what I ask of it.

This app was heaven sent! I was down to IFlicks to download some old home video footage and it did the job perfectly!!!!
