Finally shortcuts for functions I use a lot, that don’t have any built into the system, for no apparent reason.

Good app that I’ve just barely scratched the surface of, functionality-wise.

It doesn’t provide a way to discover current mappings, making creating new ones chaotic. And I know legend has it that Apple has a secret API for this, If only you provided discoverability as much as you could looking in places like coredata, or swiftdata locations. So, figure out how to query the system and store the data in coredata like the old folks or in swiftdata as an alternative a SQLite db for Pete’s sake, store it in a text file if needed, but I won’t contribute to chaos on a system that I depend on for my livelihood. Good luck. I love developers and developer culture. My apologies if I sound harsh and unreasonable. I don’t think anyone wants to solve the problem, and I will go out and solve it myself—best of luck. My intention in my tone is to be unambiguous. You have done a lot of work here. That should never be overlooked, and I’m grateful for your attempt. Now you have feedback from a customer. I’ll message you when I solve the mapping discoverability issue.

overall it’s been pretty great. it took several attempts to make hot keys to turn on and off the function keys.. like I can do with my other workstations.. and eventually it worked great.

I don’t use this often, but find it much simpler to use for the basic macros when I need to do things than Keyboard Maestro. Great when you have tedious reptitive tasks!

Wouldn’t pickup up all the steps when recording macros. Also seemed to not work correctly when running the shortcuts.

Does what it says on the tin. A little crashy but I just restart it when it happens. 🤷🏼♂️

Such a well-designed, stay-out-of-your-way app. I love the recording feature especially. The developers at Otto Labs are also very responsive. I’ve added a lot of useful key commands already, and being able to use both ⌘ keys in one hotkey is great! For me, ⌘⌘ M opens Messages (I know, pretty obvious.).

The application is amazing, you can do real wonders with it and automate a lot of repetitive actions on the computer. It would be incredible to be able to organize the macros into folders or sections within the application to be able to locate each of the created ones more easily.
