Excelente app para editar pdf

Great PDF app, if you’re looking for one I highly recommend Nitro. Does everything I need and more.

One of the best PDF tools that I have used. It has the ability to ocr a bunch of files in one of the utilities included.

Text input fields are not recognized automatically. Moving a text field around feels like a Sisyphus task. Totally agree. Super frustrating to work with. Super buggy. You mark a text. You open the fonts and even though the main font size is set to a particular value, you cannot quickly increase or decrease the font size when you mark an annotated text anywhere in a document. No what else is not working? That's enough already. Stop trying to figure things out after this…

Very buggy, badly designed, very frustrating to work with. Trying to do something as simple as editing text feels like I’m a gladiator fighting in an arena.

After the lates update (26.0) OCR destroys the PDF files. Some pages disappear, others are doubled. Some pages are halved horizontally. I used to like Nitro PDF, but right now the app is completely useless.

Cannot handle very large PDFs. Struggle with simple crop operations ForScore on an ipad handles with ease (even if that is not a PDF edit program).

I have been looking for a solid replacement for Adobe Actobat and I finally found it in Nitro PDF Pro. I find myself using it more and more.

It is not longer as stable as PDFpen Pro. it will often freeze up and is slow to transiontion from hightlighting text to adding annotations. It seems to stick on the last page I was working on of a multi page document and only by quiting or if I wait long enought it will catch up.

Half baked app, difficult to manipulate modifications and output pdf had resized picture which was only a fraction of the total picture I added

By far the best PDF reader I’ve used. No gimmicks. Intuitive interface, and prints files without asking for a money-requiring upgrade!

Nitro acquired PDF Pen and it is carrying on and improving the tool. It's good to see some changes.

Cannot prepare and send a PDF for signing

Editing text in a PDF used to be easy with Nitro - then they made an update a while back that automatically ‘detected’ all text in a PDF for ready editing. Unfortunately, since that update editing text is now painful and IMO trying to be clever by detecting all text in a PDF was a big step backwards. There’s PDFs I literally can no longer edit that I could have done quickly in the older version. I keep hoping they’ll fix it but no joy!

Nitro PDF is my go to for advanced use of PDFs. If you need campabilites beyond what is offered in most OSes this is the tool you need. I use it for everything that is beyond like converting documents to text for AI consumption to redacting sensitive infromation.

v26.0 update OCR Document function crashes everytime on macOS Sequoia, while the previous versions did not. _____________________________ This app was formerly PDFPen Pro. I had been a user of the formerly named app for a few years so I am already familiar with the nuances (e.g., the difference between the tools Edit and Precision Edit, when they should really be combined). Batch OCR of documents is convenient. OCR engine used here is Kofax Omnipage, but I think I prefer the ABBYY finereader engine. A colleague has enjoyed using the Windows version of Nitro for a number of years. The Mac and Win versions are still two very different applications. I hope to see the Mac team adopt some of the Win features, and not just stay a reskin of the old.

OCR is worse than its predecessor PDFPen Pro 13.1. Usability, stability have not been improved at all it seems. At least on my end the performance went down.
