Yes, i’ve also noticed a major battery discharge lately on my M1 Macbook Pro - when checking Activity Monitors Energy Tab, the 1st most “hungry” app was NotchNook. This is why i’m uninstalling to check if it’ll improve.

Nice base but it seem like you the notch media info doesn’t go away and autohide when watching youtube, a shame

I love the app glad they removed the forcing of me to use thier calendar.

Loving this app so far. Why are these features not native?? The way a notch is supposed to be used.

The music controls dont work on this app. You cant skip, pause or rewind songs.

Nice app, but I would like to be able to choose on which display to show the notch. I’m using a MacMini with dual monitor setup and I would like to have the notch only on the main screen and not on both.

it doesn’t hide properly and it’s annoying when watching a movie. sometimes the app uses 500% of my cpu.

A hoy 14-noviembre-2025 en MacOS Tahoe 26.1 en mi M4 sigue consumiendo una cantidad brutal de impacto energetico 5.300 aprox y levanta el consumo del CPU solo esta app a +105% una locura, deben corregirlo tiene ese error desde la beta de macos 26 hace meses

there is bug when i use youtube music sometimes it does not shows up as an app i can pause, skip or pervious the music but overall its great app

so far does the job, would love to see when the new widget feature comes out for other use cases but so far so good.

Great app, but there’s a bug when dragging images from Finder: NotchNook adds two copies of the same photo. It looks like both the Tray and Drop Zone handle the drag event at the same time. Since there’s no option to disable one of them, duplicates happen every time. Hope this can be fixed in the next update. Thanks!

From the moment I installed the application, it has always caused problems. It uses a lot of CPU, uses RAM, slows down the system, locks the mouse, and has many problems. That's why I installed and uninstalled it.

Stürzt leider immer wieder ab und öffnet ohne Erlaubnis ständig die Musik App. Ausserdem geht der Energieverbrauch immer wieder random super hoch!
