When uploading a PDF with just 18 pages, it does not use the full document. I pressed GPT to figure out what was going on and here’s what it said: “I’m sorry, but the available excerpts don’t include section 1.1.2. The only visible parts are fragments of the table of contents (page 2) and a footer (page 4). If you can share the page number or the section title for 1.1.2 (or the full PDF), I can extract the text verbatim for you.” I am supposedly chatting with the entire PDF which includes section 1.1.2, but clearly there’s something wrong with the app, or it can’t handle a 18-page document.

Unable to choose different, more complex models, stuck with 4o mini. The summary is incredibly vague and general, not useful at all.

Extremely slow to load any lengthy PDF. Kind of misses the whole point of using AI. If my PDF was short then I wouldn’t need AI at all.

Very cool application. I read Mein Kampf with it within a few hours, but didn't only processed this book. I also wrote a little article about key takeaways and lessons you can learn from it. It allowed me to filter, separate main ideas from author’s personality, because honestly I didn't wanted to consume his hate and other negative emotions. As for me – it is a radical breakthrough in education. So much books contains only few new ideas, and really valuable. But sometimes author make them almost impossible to consume, and even – toxic.

Would be nice if you could add a folder that contains PDFs instead of having to add files manually.

It says I dont have enough credits to use it but I have not used any AI features and signed up for the best Setapp plan which includes at least some AI functionality.

Works very well. I like that I can have multiple PDFs chat running in conjunction with the other. Having multiple different prompts saved is also nice. I’ve read philosophy books while chatting with AI with prompts to have AI talk as if it’s Carl Jung or Lacan talking to me as his student. I’ve also used it to analyze academic journals to replicate the experiments with my own set of numbers/data. It’s also a good way to find where I left off in a PDF if I don’t remember the exact page but remember the contex or story. Some PDF’s I have are made out of pictures of a book not scans, so it’s a little blurry in some areas but it works fine. Export option for conversation in markdown is a nice touch. You know, all the things ChatGPT can do. # Feature request Wish I could have one AI chat reading a group of PDFs in a folder together. Also, at current date, it can only use GPT version 4o mini. Could you update it to the most current model or is that not possible yet?

It is quite good use. I import my pure math lecture ppt and ask lots of question, which reduce many time for me to find definitions and understanding
