The app seems to be a little buggy on the new operating system. Not sure if dev is still updating it

This product suffers from any dev updates. Created once, then dumped for profit into Setapp. It’s ability to reconcile basic fuzzy-searches like "google" or "gmail" is a mind-boggling disaster. Password apps—from a user’s perspective—need to accomplish one thing only: the ability to search. It’s the only thing that’s always been broken for years since launch, and the only thing that’s never been updated. Use BitWarden instead, it’s free and yknow…works.

The password app I have been waiting for all these years. I have used many, this is by far the cleanest and easiest to use.

I upgraded my phone rom iPhone 13 Pro to iPhone 16 Max. Now when I try import my passwords into the phone it wants me to pay a fee to use it on my iPhone. Any ideas? I might as well use the Passwords app on Mac and iPhone.

very good, I just migrate from 1password. It’s function is simple and easy to use. Sync by icloud is safe, compared with third party server.

Secrets is one of the finest password and secrets security apps available. Simple to use, solid, and well designed.

Love the concept. In practice, the app has not been functional and has been buggy. My favourite is the tendancy to tell me that it is moving my existing saved credentials to trash when I’m trying to save new crendentials. On reload, everything is fine. However, most often, when I load the application, I get a blank area where my credential list should be. If I search, I get a return with an accurate response in but no way to access those credentials. It’s been generally useless for filling in-browser. So, love the concept. Love the amount of information I can save. Don’t love that I can’t access that information.

Desde el principio de la instalación me ha dado un problema de sincronización, y no puedo tener mis contraseñas en todos mis dispositivos actualizadas. Una lástima, había confiado en ella, la desinstalaré y buscaré otra opción. La tenía activada desde SETAPP, por si sirve de referencia a los desarrolladores.

It doesn’t work 🤷‍♀️ I’ve tried for months - talking to support and everything. It crashes, it won’t let me save passwords, it doesn’t show old passwords, it’s just generally broken. It’s really painful chaning password managers, but i’m going to have to

I'm going to amend my previous review. I just did some testing, and although I still have some concerns I did get it working with my large number of items. I do think that you need to watch out for things like local vault vs icloud vault. If you turn on icloud 99% of people will want all their stuff synched but you could easily not figure this out. Aslo create a backup frequently. I shyed away for Secrets becasue I got myself int unrecoverable situations several times in the past. I’ll give it several months and see what happens.

Underrated app. If you want a simple secure way to store certain things, this app is non-nonsense and convenient. It solved a big problem for me and I’m grateful to have found it. Improvements could be made on the importing side of things, and being able to edit the number of fields in a certain data type would be welcome, but a bit of work in BBEdit can make almost any data importable.

I’ve got an error trying to connect with iCloud at the beginning: “Permanent Failure”, so I couldn’t really try it because if I’m not able of having all my devices connected this app doesn’t make any sense to me.

I am so disappointed with this app and I am so glad I did not pay all that money for it in the app store. I think it is has a few bugs and incompatitably issues with 3rd party stores. I have the application on my Apple silicon but when it comes to authorising or adding passwords etc. on the Setapp version it keeps asking me to pay for the full app, eventhough Setapp have authorised it on my iPhon 14 Pro and iPad
