Before anything else: there may still be something recoverable. Please write to [[email protected]] as soon as you can, with the approximate date and time of the call. Depending on how far the session got before the crash, partial audio may still exist on your Mac, and we can walk you through where to look. We'd also like the crash report itself so this doesn't happen to anyone else. macOS keeps them in Console → Crash Reports, or support can tell you exactly what to send. Sorry again. Gemini should connect with a valid API key, summaries should generate after each recording, and live transcription with AI chat should appear during the session. Since all three failed at once, this looks like something specific to your setup rather than a missing feature, and we'd like to get to the bottom of it. If you write to us at [[email protected]] with your macOS version, your Mac model, and roughly when the failed session happened, we can check what happened on our side and get back to you with a concrete answer. You're also right about the recording state not being obvious enough — making that clearer in the interface is on our list. Sorry for the time you lost on this. It's more annoying than it sounds because the language detection works at the start but doesn't always hold through re-transcription — we know, not great And thanks for the PDF.
