Wasted 20 minutes of my life trying to get this to work on Sequoia. Eventually got the drag and drop icon to appear from the menu bar. Dragged a file into it, but all I got was an endless animated icon. Instructions are minimal and unintuitive. Don’t waste your time.

I create a lot of screenshots/video clips during the cause of my regular workday and this app takes the hassle out of removing all the clutter from my desktop at the end of the day. My only criticism is the automation scheduler doesn’t work consistently, so I frequently have to open the app to manually click the Run Now button. 02/20/2025 - Unfortunately when creating a rule based on last modified date, the “Not within period” filter doesn’t work.

Constantly crashes when trying to run an automated task. Boo!

Thought it might be a useful alternative to Hazel, but it doesn’t work properly, not for me anyway.

It doesn't seem to open. I've clicked, double clicked, triple clicked, on the menu bar and in the doc and nothing much seems to happen. I have Sequoia 15.5, is it incompatible?

The app was working fine, but now, all of a sudden, when dragging files to the app, it just freezes—for no reason at all.

I’m reviewing prematurely in some sense. I just launched it for the first time and immediately encountered poor user experience. Downloaded a while ago so I didn’t know how it worked. Got the Spotless menu bar menus. So of course I clicked on it to start to investigate. Menu items are there but almost completely disabled. Including the help menu! Come on folks. At least have the help menu tell me to look for the menubar icon! I use Bartender so my menubar icons are hidden. Now I will actually see if the app works. Lots of negative reviews. So I’m not sure what to expect.

Didn’t get it to work

Functionality is great and when it works it’s a great tool. The problem is that very often it gets stuck and won’t do anything. A system restart often resolves it, but it’s not reliable enough to use, at least for the versions that I’ve tested on my Mac setup.

Do NOT use. I cannot find some very important files. They are completely gone.

Never shows any UI

I was expecting some type of AI that would help organize files for me, not an ability to specify rules one by one alone. I was so disappointed in having to create a bunch of organization rules from scratch.

Does what it says on the tin. Mostly just use it to keep my desktop clean and organized, but it does that great.

Behaviour somewhat impredictable, but promising. Perhaps it will be improved…

Menu bar icon shows that it’s moving files for the last day but it won’t open the app window. on M2 MBA.
