I left Forklift for about 2 years or so because after an upgrade to Forklift 4 my FTPs stopped connecting. Recently gave it another go and everything now works again. Happy to have forklift back as a muktitasker!

Forklift is continuing to develop while remaining stable and reliable. A great dual-pane alternative to the Finder!

It’s great.

On Apple Silicon M1 file tags can be deleted in the matching menu, but will not be signed as deleted in ForkLift. In Finder these tags will correctly be signed as deleted. Beside this little glitch the app is great in everyday use, I appreciate it!

Nice two-panel file manager. Quite stable.

It does not have refresh button, which I am required to keep disconnect and connect when i want to transfer new build app

Version 4 was a bit rough at the start, but it has been very stable for me lately and works very well now.

Took me a few tries to get it set up right, but now it works great! Definitely the way to go instead of the Finder.

Loving this app. I am a long-time user of Path Finder all the way back to its Snax days. i love how feature rich this thing is! Great job!

Great but still buggy. Lacks zebra list

I love most of the app, some of the features would be my life savers (like the workspace setups that can be saved to the sidebar, that’s just perfect!). But unfortunately, the Preview panel takes almost a second to update every time I select a new file. I work with a lot of art assets and frequently need to skim through files to find a specific asset, ForkLift makes this completely impossible.

It doesn’t work with WebDAV… no matter if I use http, https, domain names or ip addresses.

Way better than Finder, in every way possible.

it was a usefull app until it started to crash on a regular basis => i suspect it crashes in combination with Google Drive folders on mac (Shared drive folders from company account), it crashes now on macos Tahoe

Works well for me.

while it does crash sometimes, it’s a pretty good file manager, we’re eons away from DirOpus on windows but it’s still pretty good overall

ForkLift is the best file manager for the MAC Hands Down
