Numerous problems: 1. as you switch between having an external monitor plugged in and not, there's no predicting which monitor this will slide out of, so you might be unable to open it because it's in the space between your monitors. 🤦🏼‍♂️ 2. no password management or way to add a password management plugin—this makes it very inconvenient to use with any site that you must log into 3. when you move it to a different monitor, it often just moves back 4. when you resize the sub-windows, they virtually ALWAYS resize themselves to being small again even if you specifically enlarged them THESE PROBLEMS ARE USER-HOSTILE AND ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING! HORRIBLE UX FOR THIS APP!!!

This app is DEAD in Tahoe. Every single page I made now doesn’t load :( I am slideSAD

Update: the app has become such an important piece of my slow, until recently, it’s almost unusable, lags, slows down, breaks, it’s such a disappointed, never thought i’d look for alternative. Amazing concept, amazing design, really neat, sadly it eats up more memory than a full fledged chromium based browser, I hope you can work on that performance, the app is really cool. update: I came back to it despite the concerns, i think it’s worth a second chance but something also to fix, the notifications aren’t really showing even tho they are on. I hope the people behind it will give it more care.

Really great. My only gripe is it would be nice if you could choose whether links you click in apps in the slidepad open in your default browser vs. the built in browser. Makes it difficult when you’re opening links from your email, etc.

Love the app for convenient access to notes and lists while staying fast and agile in your work flow. Thanks for a great user interface design and features!

Slidepad is a super handy app and one I use heavily almost every day. Of all the mini-browsers I've tried, it's the smoothest and best for working alongside other apps. I often lament the lack of documentation and minimalist settings. I've used it for years and still can't figure out how to manually save and rename a bookmark. Exactly once, Past Me somehow saved a random named Google sheet, but I can't seem to replicate whatever I did there. If you have multiple tabs open for one site (e.g., a few Google Drive docs, pages from a notes app), it can become hard to tell which tab is which. The favicons and titles are all identical. My only other complaint is that Memory usage gets very high, even with most tabs sleeping. I get alerts as often as I do with Arc and the Notion desktop app. Still, Slidepad is the only mini-browser I actually like using to work. MenubarX is great for quick checks, like my calendar, but Slidepad is a workhorse I'm happy to keep using.

I LOVED this app for a week or so. Then, I realized that it was using 8.94 gigs of RAM, which was… insane… I tried clearing the cache, did absolutely everything to help it run better. Nothing worked, and now I’m straight up Slidesad. Please fix the memory issue!

fails to allow my chatgpt open login, keeps bringing an error but if i dont login chatgpt and use just a free account it works well why cant i log into my chatgpt account while using slidepad app

I realli like the concept, but I wish it could use apps instead of websites

Buggy mess, not useful

Great app however Claude.ai and some others (Upwork), Spotify dont work with Google Login. Will change to Upvote when fixed.

I use it for Notion quick tasks and notes, and Telegram, Whatsap review - It’s perfect.

This app is the eptiome of a stupidly simple idea, being the most brilliant one of them all. I went from chrome group tabs, to creating multiple apps from individual websites and making them take up their own fullscreen space, to this masterpiece. I used BTT so whenever I tap my left finger while the other three are resting on the trackpad, this bad boy pops up or hides. I have AI sites, jira, slack, google drive, and anything I need to use reglularly, at my fingertips. I deleted all those web apps I made, and even the official slack app, and replaced it with this. This is literally my number 1 productivity app right now. The amount of times I need to quickly ask AI something, or use Jira for work tasks, is insane. But just for AI this is invaluable, pop up, ask, now go away. I’m new to setapp, I trawlled every single app installing the ones I thought might be useful, and this is literally my most used by far. If your needs require multitasking & quick access to sites, get this!

Cannot signin with google

Great app, been using it every day for more than a year. The only annoying thing is it does not seem compatible with websites that use Apple Fingerprint to authenticate a keychain item, and every day or two, google pages like Calendar or Docs will sign out of your google account, the “Log in” and “Retry” buttons don’t do anyting, and I have to refresh the page and sign in again, and the Fingerprint login does not work so I have to type in my password and autheticate manually every time.

This app is perfect if you use google calendar, gmail, onedrive and the like for work. The only thing its missing is the ability to add messenger
