Seems to be a great app generally speaking. The uploads to documents is a bit unpredictable and adding activities/events and linking documents is not so intuitive.

As a tripit free user, this app really needs to hire better UI/UX: - Non intuitive usage. - Messy UI no address info - Trouble recognizing non-english emails. - No way to link email to event. - Create event by default links to last event.

Keeps singing me out on iOS and requiring me to sign back in which is not good enough

I find it confusing and frustrating. Adding things gives more questions than answers and I have to double-check if I am doing it all. It shows up in things added, but the itinerary remains empty. I’m sure I’m just missing the proper steps, but it strikes me as more work than it’s worth. TripIt is not the most glamorous, but not having the bells and whistles UI is practically a plus.

I used to love this app but I feel like the UI has become over complicated, clunky and inefficient. Too many animated toggles and when creating a new activity there are an overload of options. Also, I’m frustrated by the inability to export a PDF of my itinerary. In the past I’ve used this app to help family members or work colleagues stay organized when traveling. I used to be able to export a web link to share with people but that option doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Now the best I can do is export a CSV which honestly looks lame. The app has become less useful and it makes me sad. I use (or used to use) both ios and desktop versions of the app.

Really easy to use and creates a visual map of your trip, itinerary and all the info you might need all in one place. A great way to keep all your info on your phone and access it on the move. Usually I just carry around a paper print out itinerary so this is a great digital update, unless as my battery doesn’t die. Thanks for designing such a great app.

Very pleased with the app design and utility for tracking travel plans and expense receipts. Thanks for a great app!

Buggy and frustrating expereince. Email automations are not reliable - they someltimes trigger and sometimes they don’t - even though I get an email from Tripsy saying an event was imported, it does not appear in the app itself. The organization also leaves a lot to be desired - like the app’s main purpose should be to organize the day but there is no mechanism to do so. At this point, this app is just a glorified notebook. You might as well as use Apple’s Notes to do what this app is doing Response to dev: I have tried using the app to manage my day and my review is based on that experience. For e.g., it would be super helpful to create events like I do on Apple’s calendar app that allows me to increase/decrease the duration of my event by dragging on the corners. This would make it super easy to get a bird’s eye view of the plan for the day. Right now, I am forced to enter the start and end time for every event, which means that I should remember what the end time for the previous

Pretty cool overall. Nice alternative to Flighty (not as advanced in some flight areas, but more than enough for most users). Still a few features and rough edges to round out as of May 2025, bit I’m sure it will keep improving. It’s a beautiful app to use.

Takes a bit long to add all details of a travel

The application is okay, and I'm only using it because it is free and included with setapp otherwise, I would purchase something different. The user interface is not that easy, and often, if you add accommodation, for instance, manually, you can't actually assign dates to it. It is also nearly impossible to see your itinerary in chronological order, which is super annoying. It's very difficult to have an overall overview of your travel.

Simply amazing! Now, I don't plan any trip without it!

It keeps crashing in MacOS 26, it is now opening in a map view and I can’t get the view of just the trip. It used to be great, but now…

You have to sign up with their account and store all the trips in their cloud. Trips might include a lot of sesetive information. Trusting third party for that. Not sure I can. Don’t understand why they did not enabled just iCloud to sync the data between devices.

Integrates maps in app when viewing locations. Nice feature!

I love Tripsy, I hate using it. It is all the little papercuts that drives me nuts. Open an Itinerary item with times, Now try to change the time zone. You have to be very specific about which time zone and when you have changed it the Save button is grayed out and you cant save it. You have to start over and make sure you edit the time zone before you finish it.
