Magic Window Air

Magic Window Air offers a video screen saver featuring slow motion aerial video. Sit back and be amazed as your Mac takes you on an adventure to destinations all around the world. The app includes both a screen saver plug-in and a menu bar app (Airport) that lets you know where you’ve recently traveled.

Magic Window Air’s video collection has a particular focus on Big Sur and Catalina Island — places that are very dear to your Mac’s heart. But there are more than 100 destinations to explore! All you have to do is install the plug-in and MWA will take care of the rest.

The screen saver is highly customizable, including the ability to add a clock, countdown timer, and more as overlays. You can also add your own videos to the collection (and even play just your videos!) Most of these options are available through System Preferences under Screen Saver Options.

Magic Window Air is compatible with all recent macOS versions — from High Sierra to Big Sur. It integrates seamlessly and supports all native macOS screen saver features like hot corners and lock screen playback. So it just fits in. You’ll wonder why Apple didn’t include this in macOS!
