Great app

I wanted to test only the storage speed, when I try that, it opens a popup for me to select a file (?!?!). I gave up and tried to run all tests, then it said “3 minutes” remaining and stayed like that for about 10 minutes, at wich point I canceled it. I have a M1 Max with 64GB of RAM and I have closed all applications before running the benchmark. It may be a good software, but with these bugs, it is useless.

The program is easy to use. I’m not a geek when it comes to how my machine is running, so Novabench is a big help.

first time use: kernel panic while running it I’ll try it again without rush

Something went wrong with my older mac (iMac Pro 27” 2017), and could not run comparisons, but otherwise it’s great. Helped me figure out my purchasing decisions for the next few years.

The app is very handy and quite useful in providing an accurate detail of system (mac) performance! I Recommend.

Crash on GPU benchmark

It’s a really splendid piece of work. the functionality is phenomenal with a wide range of options such as comparing functionality to other averages expected for the same piece of technology, all packaged beautifully.

Really fantastic and easy to use benchmarking tool. It does everything Cinebench and Geekbench do but it’s fast and easy to understand and compare with other computers. More importantly, I reached out to their support team for help and they replied almost immediately (on a weekend!) Customer service is huge and not all the apps on setapp have the best customer service so huge shoutout to the Novabench team.

Gave me a good overview - good to have this assurance of how your computer is working compared to norms. Has shown one area I need to look into.

Crashes on start-up

Really enjoyed the app and I love the benchmarking. I’ve found that so much of a computer experience is subjective, and macOS can be laggy or slow based on how it’s configured (250+ Chrome tabs) and can tell if its your computer, or maybe an issue that requires more investigating.

not bad app it’s a pity they think that it doesn’t allow you to imput your own countries tarrif rate for KWh intead of a completly unrealistic that doesn’t even get to $1 especially when our rate is closer to $4.50 in stead of a sliding scale how about the ability to input manually?

It’s not so easy to compare with other (similar) systems. I guess it’s still a bit early and the app is too new. I wish they had used known benchmarks (Geekbench, Cinebench, etc) instead of creating a new one because there’s a lot more data. Aside from that, it’s a nice and neat app.

Worked without problems, very easy to use.

I have no problem with crashes. It opens and runs without problems. My biggest issue is understnding all the results. I expect with time and practice I will learn a lot about my computer. (M2 MacBook Air).
